Hilltop NC

We love staying at Hilltop. The cottage is light and spacious, well equipped kitchen, good bathroom with a large shower, off road parking and a lovely enclosed garden. North Creake is the perfect spot, peaceful and well located for exploring the area. Great shower, very comfy beds, lovely kitchen. The cottage is well equipped, the owner has thought of everything you might need. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at Hilltop. The property is beautiful and very well thought out. The Garden room is a wonderful addition. Would definitely stay there again had everything we needed.

Another lovely stay at Hilltop. From the moment we walked through the door we immediately felt "at home". Everywhere was beautiful and clean. The cut roses in the living room and kitchen were lovely and smelt amazing. We spent many peaceful hours sitting in the sun lounge or in the beautiful garden watching the many types of birds visit. We had some lovely local walks with our dog around the village, visited the church fate, the locals making us feel very welcomed. Another nice walk is along the road to Creake Abbey, the coffee shop here sells lovely food and cakes :-) Always sad to leave this beautiful, peaceful cottage, but we will be back again soon. Carolyn, Hamish & Poppy the Cavapoo :-) Comfy beds, kitchen is well stocked, lovely and clean. A beautiful peaceful garden. Everything for the dog too. This cottage is a delightful place to relax and unwind. We love it.

: Really lovely Cottage. Everything we needed. The cottage and garden looked after really well. We enjoyed sitting in the garden when the weather was kind and the log burner in cooler evenings. Just perfect. Clean, welcoming, comfortable. Everything we needed. Beautiful, enclosed and relaxing garden. Even dog bowls for our dog to use. Loved our stay, booking cottage again in May.

First time back since new owners, still love the place! Feels like a home from home, a few more links to the area (i.e. Local pictures) would be nice, but a very comfortable place to come back to with everything you could want to make a great stay. Enjoyed catching up on Netflix (The Crown) as we don't have it at home. Wiveton Hall cafe opened up the day before we returned home (always love it there) enjoyed a lunch sitting in a hut looking over marshes as it was a warm today, perfect end to our break. Staff at Sowerbys were very helpful when we booked a second week, thanks again.

It's a lovely Base point to visiting all areas of North Norfolk,lovely to have a wood burner for the cold evenings.

Such a lovely well equipped cottage. We have been impressed by Docking after usually staying on the coast roads. Managed to have a full week of sunshine and reached Brancaster beach daily (which the dogs loved!) Hope to come back again next year.

Enjoyable stay in a well-presented cottage.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop. The cottage is very spacious, well equipped, warm and comfortable. The beds (super king in the twin room) were comfortable, the towels, super soft and a great size.

Lovely, comfortable cottage, well situated for the North Norfolk coast. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We especially liked the thought that has gone into making the guest's stay easy, like tabs and rinse aid for the dishwasher. We don't have a dishwasher at home and so wouldn't bring these items with us, but really appreciate the fact that the owner provides them, so nice to have a holiday from the washing up! We enjoyed the garden room, lovely room to sit with a cuppa looking out over the fields, or to sit quietly with a book.

Thank you so much for yet another fabulous holiday at your cottage it was just perfect. Thank you also for the bottle of fizz. It gets harder to leave this perfect little cottage each time we stay.

I thought the decor and furnishings were beautifully thought out - someone has an eye for detail which I appreciated. It was also very comfortable and we felt very relaxed in the cottage. Despite not having the usual Norfolk sunshine, we really enjoyed our week, thank you!

Hilltop is a perfect cottage with all the facilities we required & ideal garden with lovely plum trees. Just what we all needed with what is going on in the world, a real “ get away from it all “ place,would have liked another couple of bath towels.

Overall Hilltop ia a lovely little cottage. We liked The Dog proof garden! Very cosy and everything you would need for a great stay-with the added extra of the chickens next door...Great entertainment!

Better than Expected - The house was really comfortable - well equipped and well decorated. The wonderful conservatory - with its beautiful views - was really appreciated. The well-equipped kitchen - we made full use of the coffee machine! - the comfortable beds. The enclosed garden was also great for our dog. We had the perfect Christmas getaway. Our first time being away from family for Christmas and the cottage was a perfect break. It is a very cosy and homely cottage and the photos don’t do this property justice. The garden room was brilliant for watching the rolling hills. We would stay here again for sure, everything is very high quality and comfortable. Thank you!

Well equipped holiday cottage convenient for the North Norfolk coast. Superb beds and a log burner for the chilly evenings. In a delightful village with a great little supermarket and a pub. The owners haven't forgotten anything and have provided a comprehensive information folder with many suggestions of things to do and places to visit.

Hilltop is in a great location and is clean and spacious, a very well appointed property with a very nice enclosed garden. We enjoyed our stay and had a very nice holiday. Thank you.

Better than Expected - Lots of refurbishment since our last visit! Cleanliness 10 out of 10 We like Hilltop for the good location, for places we like to go, comfortable cottage and big and enclosed garden. This was the 2nd year for us to stay at Hilltop and we loved it even more with the recent improvements. We had a lovely time in this cosy cottage and the mid-holiday clean was great. Thank you!

Was total pleasure to stay at hilltop, calm, private and peaceful. So easy as so well stocked, clean and cosy. All you new and more, such a beautiful and private space.

The cottage was lovely and in the perfect location to explore everywhere we wanted to. After many times driving through Brancaster we finally found and made use of the beach which was fantastic being so close by. Also made numerous trips to Burnham Market, Holkham Hall, Sandringham and further afield to Cromer and Sheringham.

The children loved the bedroom they shared and made great use of the garden – ‘camping’ in it in our beach tent!

We definitely hope to visit again and our friends and relatives have shown interest in staying there at some point too.

We have stayed here three times, Excellent cottage. Like everything about Hilltop, newly refurbished bedrooms and bathroom are excellent!

The cottage is very cosy and characterful. We particularly enjoyed having the garden room as an additional seating area. We spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week in Hilltop cottage. It is a very well presented and nicely furnished property and we were very grateful for the generous welcome gifts. It is in a perfect location for exploring the north Norfolk coast and we would definitely return if staying in the area again. Hilltop is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in and we highly recommend it.

This cottage was perfect for us and our two dogs. Great position and good garden to relax in. Everything was top quality. Really enjoyed the pub to eat in just a short walk down the road. Definitely thinking of booking next year as this Cottage ticks all the boxes for us.

This is a very comfortable property, well equipped. great position for the coast, lovely enclosed garden and quite possibly the best nights sleep you could wish for.

Having stayed new year last year we already knew we loved Hilltop, so much so we stayed for 2 weeks this time - home from home. Sad to leave but time to return to normal life. Lovely relaxing week in our favourite part of norfolk. Same as before, the cottage is a joy to come back to after a walk in a scenic place (especially Wells beach). Enjoyed the views from the garden room -seen several buzzards! Thank you so much, really thrilled!

This was our second visit and the cottage has been improved. Liked the new kitchen/fridge/cooker and the lovely decoration. Also like the high quality of equipment, furnishings etc.

The only other thing we would have liked at Hilltop cottage was a "For Sale" sign as we wanted to buy the cottage!

This is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in within this price range. Clean, warm cottage, welcome pack, towels included and new furniture. Wifi really appreciated.
