Our Story

In 2002 Andrea Sowerby left behind the corporate world of Sales and Marketing to set up a local holiday cottage agency in Burnham Market, as a sister company to her husband’s rapidly extending Sowerbys Estate Agency business. Having seen the demand for second homes and popularity of the area, she saw the opportunity to provide a personalised local management service to owners wishing to holiday let their much-loved second homes.

Starting with a handful of cottages, over the last 20 years our company has grown gradually with a portfolio now of almost 300 hand-picked cottages we would all like to stay in. Appreciating the need to be nearby in the event of any issues that need resolving, we have deliberately limited the range of our cottages to a relatively small localised area of outstanding natural beauty, within 20 minutes drive of Burnham Market. We pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional service to both our owners and our guests. Our owners can relax in the knowledge that we are looking after all aspects of their holiday homes; and our guests can relax knowing that we all live locally and have a genuine desire to help in the event of an emergency, or simply to offer local advice on what to do, where to eat etc.
