Beautiful property with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Found lots to explore and do in surrounding area. Was a much needed break for all and a great treat for my mum's 70th birthday. My highlights were my nephew teaching me how to play pool. Spending time as a family playing games and exploring the local area. Visiting some beautiful beaches and making a bauble at Langham glass. : I want to just offer my thanks to the owners, Sowerbys and something to look forward to charity. I have been on chemo since the start of April till end of August and am now in the small gap waiting for surgery then further ongoing treatment. This break lined up perfectly and also with my mum's 70th. It gave me a much needed break and a chance to thank my family for all their help and support x
Easy access to Thornham walks, shops and pubs. Accommodation and facilities were exceptional. Plenty of cooking utensils and tableware. Games room was appreciated. Property was exceptionally clean when we arrived.
A beautiful, spacious house that was pretty much perfect for our party. Great location in the village with walking distance of the coast and three pubs. The children appreciated the games room and garden, whilst the good sized kitchen/diner was great for everyone to assemble in. The showers had good power and the beds were comfy. Having a separate study was useful.
The house was perfect for our special family celebrations. Well equipped and very comfortable and spacious. Games room was a bonus..Enjoyed by all. House very conveniently located to the local restaurants.
Perfect house for a family gathering Extremely well equipped kitchen which made catering very easy Enjoyed many games of croquet on the lawn Perfectly positioned within the village for easy access to all its amenities and beautiful walks. The property just worked for our stay with friends and family No one felt compromised with a poor room Loved the night we had two chefs in to cook for us all and also our meals at The Orange Tree Equally loved the roast beef dinner we cooked there for us all on the Bank Holiday Sunday We played bowls on the first Saturday but were disappointed the men didn’t return the following Wednesday or Saturday.
Very nice place for a special birthday for all the family to meet up.
A fabulous house that is spacious and comfortable even for our large group. This was the fourth time we have stayed here- the house itself and the brilliant location are hard to beat. We enjoyed walks to Thornham beach, a delicious dinner at The Lifeboat Inn, and easy access to Holkham Hall Park Run annd high ropes, and our favourite beach at Old Hunstanton. A day trip to Cromer for crabbing off the pier was also a highlight.
