The Hideaway is in a convenient location, perfect for 2 people and uncluttered too! Was better than we expected and we would stay again!

Even better than the images had led us to believe. We especially liked the comfort, size, location and decor. It was so comfortable and without doubt the best holiday cottage/rented accommodation we have stayed in. Simply a perfect week at the Hideaway Cottage. We will be back!

We're just enjoying our last night at The Hideaway. Fire lit of course !!
We have had a fantastic week in this wonderful part of the world. The cottage has been "our home" for just 7 days and it has become just that. A superbly appointed & equipped house. Cosy & just perfect in every way. A fine location too for exploring this glorious landscape.
Thanks also to all the team at Sowerby's. We really appreciate all your help and support. It's our first holiday with you but it will not be the last.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our Easter break at The Hideaway. The cottage itself was very homely and well equipped, clean and tidy. It's in a great position for exploring our favourite places, including Holt, Burnham Market, Wells and the Dalegate Market. We hope to return soon! Thank you again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway. It is ideally situated and very well appointed. A much needed period of rest and respite from the rigours of everyday life! We will return to further experience the joys of what Docking and North Norfolk has to offer. Thank you so much!
The Ingham family - 29/06/2018
We have enjoyed the most relaxing holiday at The Hideaway. The cottage was very well furnished and considered touches like the children's books, DVDs etc. were a pleasant bonus. A comfy bed and couch let us chill after days exploring NE Norfolk. Docking is a great centre to venture out to the neighbouring villages and gorgeous beaches.
We will remember this holiday for years to come and will definitely return to the cottage again.

Great location, comfortable and stylish home from home experience. We recommend the Jolly Sailors pub for casual dining and cycling from Holkham Hall.

A lovely few days in the most beautiful part of the world. It has been very wet, so we have been grateful to return to a comfortable warm cottage with great facilities. Thank you!

Docking
Location
All roads in North Norfolk seem to lead to Docking. It's a busy village with an excellent small supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, village pub, a large village playing field, tennis court and bowling green. It also has its own weekly village market every Wednesday morning at The Ripper Hall between 9am and 1pm, where a great selection of local produce is available. On Mondays freshly cooked wood-fired pizzas are available from Bordolis outside Ripper Hall - delicious! Docking also has its own coarse fishing lake that is available on a day ticket basis.
The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk Coast and its long, fine sandy beaches. Brancaster and The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club are about five miles away. There are two golf courses in Hunstanton, which is less than eight miles away. The Titchwell Bird Reserve, home to terns and waders is close by. The ultra fashionable Georgian village of Burnham Market, Sandringham and the market towns of Fakenham and King's Lynn are also nearby.
