Oak Cottage

A lovely, well equipped and comfortable cottage located in a great spot close to pubs, coastal path and beaches.
We were staying with our dog and really enjoyed the dog friendly beaches, pubs and shops nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

A well equipped, lovely cottage close to amenities and beaches.We enjoyed Holkham, Wells beach and Thornham beach for walks. White Horse and Gin Trap for meals out plus the Nest Cafe and Thorham Deli for breakfast.

This cottage has a lovely garden. The downstairs is pleasant although anyone over 5ft 10 may fine the ceilings too low. The staircase takes some tackling! The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area light and airy. There are two comfortable sofas. We enjoyed sitting in the garden with a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine.
Going on a seal trip from Morston Quay, visiting Holkham, lunch in The Hero in Burnham-Overy-Staithe, lunch in the George and Dragon in Cley. and shopping in Wells.

Our fifth stay here, lovely open and spacious comfortable cottage enjoying the benefits of a truly sunny and delightful enclosed private garden..with a superb olive tree, probably one of largest in the UK , and a west facing decked terrace too , for evening sunshine and sunsets. Set on the coast road just yards from local shops and garage. Views over the adjacent marshes towards Brancaster Beach and Scolts Head Island. Private off street parking. Sadly sunshine was in very short supply this year, so the full benefits of this cottage weren't utilised much. Had to have heating on too in June! Most unusual.The cottage itself is a favourite of ours, ticking so many boxes, it feels very familiar now and love the location, bang in the middle of the wonderful north west Norfolk coastline.

This is our 6th stay in Oak Cottage. It's a good place for exploring, both the immediate location and just a short drive from all our favourite places. It's well equipped, very comfortable beds and a lovely garden. We like an evening walk round the harbour and along the coast path to the White Horse sitting with a drink on the balcony with a glass of wine overlooking the marshes

Lovely as always. We have been to Oak Cottage on numerous occasions and will back again later in the year! Location and walks with amazing bird life along the coastal path. We saw 6 avocets!

Spacious cottage.Large kitchen and dining area.Living room is comfortable with log burner.Two large bedrooms ( one very large) and well equipped bathroom.Garden is enclosed with seating and small lawn.Dog friendly.There was everything we needed for a perfect stay. Location and condition of the cottage are hard to beat.

We love the location and cosy cottage. We have stayed at Oak Cottage on many occasions and returning for another week in January 2024!

Great cottage with a great space that works very well and well equipped. Everything you need for your stay. Great location to amenities and coastal paths.

We've returned to Oak Cottage many times. We really like it's location and layout. Its decor is simple and uncluttered which we prefer.
The fully enclosed garden is great for dogs and eating out in, during the summer. The log burner makes it very cosy in the winter. Everything that you need is close by in terms of eating out and shopping.

As always a lovely stay at Oak Cottage - the hollyhocks looked absolutely amazing! Turning into the drive with the view of the sea framed by all those amazing hollyhocks!

This was the second time we have stayed at Oak Cottage and we were as pleased with it as the first time. Comfortable, clean, well appointed. Highlights the walks along the north coast, as always.

I’m a regular visitor to Oak Cottage and hadn’t been able to come last year because of how popular it was. I loved being back, and was reminded of how great the layout is. I loved the extra touch this time of the dog blanket.

Lovely cosy cottage in an excellent location for nearby walks, pubs, shops. Nicely decorated and well equipped for 4 people and dogs. Cooking Xmas Dinner in the very well equipped and modern kitchen and cosy xmas evenings by the Wood Burner.

Another lovely stay at Oak Cottage. Such a comfortable cosy home with a great location. We enjoyed waking up every morning to the view of the sea and the perfect garden.

At Oak Cottage the kitchen was great. Overall nice spaces. Off street parking was excellent We would visit again!

All of it! Its a brilliant conversion of traditional flint and brick cottage - 2nd visit here, its just perfect location, and whole cottage inside and out appeals, quite a unique find. Will be back!

The stunning contemporary interior and garden made a big impression, so full of light and space the cottage was a brilliantly relaxing base. Oak cottage is a wonderful find, and we will be back as soon as possible. Our mobile signal was intermittent.

We like this property because it has been decorated and furnished in a nice simple manner leaving room for us.
Oak Cottage is a delightful holiday let.

Delighted the fire had been laid ready and plenty of logs, even though we did bring some the owners had kindly put in a real Christmas tree with lights and decorations.
We loved the enclosed garden at the back perfect and safe for fur kids/doggies.
