Village
An attractive Norfolk farming village which is defined by the large pretty duck pond in the heart of the village. Many of the properties in Stanhoe are constructed from traditional brick and flint with curvy pantiles on the roof, making for many pretty chocolate box homes.

History

We had a fabulous 4 generational (aged 1 - 93 yrs) holiday in this spacious holiday house. It was our second visit and we were impressed by the general condition of the property. The beautiful garden was very well maintained too. Within 15-20 mins of superb North Norfolk beaches and Burnham Market. A superb and memorable holiday!
We enjoyed playing in the garden…with 5 children.Lots of space in the house both for our large group and for privacy. Very good standard of decoration and furnishings. Plenty of good kitchen equipment and crockery.
What a beautiful house for a large group. It accommodated our 2 families , dogs and toddlers easily , was well equipped, very clean and comfortable, and had a beautiful garden . The delightful owner lives next door and was very welcoming. It is only a few mins drive to Burnham Market, and the coast is about 15 mins away. We all loved our stay - thank you .
As this is the 4th time we have stayed it still delights us with the very high standards it keeps. Never a thing out of place and nearly always subtle changes for improvement. We are booking again for next year. The sun helped! So we were able to enjoy the garden more. Amanda keeps her standards very high. She is so very welcoming that you feel at home rather than staying in holiday accommodation.
Beautiful house and location. We have stayed there before.
Lovely big house for a family get together. Very warm and comfortable. Highlights: 60th Birthday celebrations.
It was a privilege to stay in such an historical property- it was very clean and comfortable despite its size and number of rooms so well done housekeepers! 1) Being welcomed by Amanda, what a lovely lady 2)The Christmas tree in the entrance hall decorated beautifully 3)The fire lit in the big living room to welcome us on a cold, dark night 4)My grandchildren playing hide and seek and getting lost in far corners of the house 5)Family gatherings in the kitchen around the Aga 6) Christmas dinner for 10 around the formal dining room table 7)A glitter ball disco for my grandchildren in the small living room 8)Last but not least- the beautiful garden which is obviously loved and well looked after even in winter.
Our group of ladies have stayed at Little Barwick House for our annual trip to Norfolk for many years. It is a very well equiped, spacious house set in a wonderful garden. We shall be back again. The house always makes you feel relaxed.
This is a brilliant house for several generations of family. It is spacious and comfortable but also feels homely and not too precious. We have stayed her two years' running now and it is a firm favourite with the grandchildren. Very spacious, well equipped kitchen. Dualit toaster and AGA. Lots of space in the house when its raining. Brancaster beach 15 mins away and Wells less than half an hour.
Wonderful place to stay with oodles of charm and character. Very comfortable and warm. Everything one would need is there. I am booking again for next year
