The quieter Old Hunstanton is situated only a mile from Hunstanton town, with the beautiful stripy cliffs standing between the two sandy beaches.

Village

History

The village of Old Hunstanton was named in the Domesday book at ‘Hunestanestada’, it later became part of the Le Strange family estates. The parish church of St Mary is situated in the grounds of Hunstanton Hall (Grade 1 listed) home to the Le Strange family for centuries.

Further along the North Norfolk Coastal Path the pretty villages of Thornham and Brancaster can be found, with many nature reserves along the way including RSPB Titchwell. Electric Vehicle charging

Cars may only be charged if there is an EV charging point fitted at the property. The cost of electricity is NOT included in the rental price and Sowerbys Holiday Cottages must be notified if the charger is used and an additional surcharge will be made.
