Dolphin Cottage

This was my first visit to Dolphin Cottage & on arrival I was so impressed with the standard of cleanliness throughout. The cottage interior modern, cosy & furnished to a very high standard. I particularly appreciated the solid flooring downstairs which is very practical. The cottage is perfectly situated being only a few minutes walk from the beach & a range of facilities. I am familiar with Old Hunstanton but this is the best holiday cottage I have visited! I loved walking my 2 dogs on the beach & along the clifftop. Sitting in the sunshine at the Old Town beach cafe eating delicious food was a delight. It's such a friendly little place! Booking my last minute stay was easy & staff at Sowerbys so approachable & efficient, which was much appreciated. A special thank you to the owners for allowing their lovely property to be dog friendly.

Great location for Old Hunstanton beach, warm cottage with everything we needed.The cottage was well suited to us as a couple with two dogs. Having a fenced garden is always paramount, and Dolphin Cottage has TWO! The cosy electric fire was lovely, when we didn't need the whole central heating on. On our departure morning, having a huge brolly to borrow was a huge tick!

Lovely cottage with enclosed and safe front and back gardens. Very spacious main bedroom with a king size bed which was very comfortable. Had a dishwasher and washing machine which we used midweek. A cottage which I would recommend and stay again : Walking down the lane to the old town beach cafe and onto the beach. In the evenings we walked down to The Mariners pub.Used the bus once which stops right outside and went to Wells, I have never seen so many dogs on a bus. Parked at Holkham and walked through the woods to Wells beach cafe, then walked back along the beach.

Very nice stay, was clean. Good amenities.To be near the beach is always great, lovely walks, great to have a secure garden for the dog.

Nice comfortable cottage, well located, ideal for dogs with 2 gardens, we enjoyed our holiday.Lovely walks, different each day, did not need to use car.

Literally 5 minutes from the beach, a cafe serving the best breakfast around and the Mariner public house, serving food and dog friendly, ideal for a quick drink after along walk.
This was our second stay there and would definitely book again in the future. Thank you Dolphin Cottage for being our base for a wonderful break.

Second visit to Dolphin Cottage, superb location, spotlessly clean and well equipped. have already booked for a winter break in February next year. walking on close by beach and wonderful sunsets. So close to everything you need.

The cottage is ideal for walking on the beach at Old Hunstanton and into Hunstanton.

Dolphin Cottage is such a lovely cottage. It was very clean and well looked after and we found it to be very comfortable. The decorations and soft furnishings complemented the cottage, as did the garden which was perfect. We choose to stay in Old Hunstanton because it is so near the wonderful beach and once again, after a wet start to our holiday, the weather did not disappoint us. Please pass on our thanks to the owners. Staying in Dolphin Cottage was definitely a highlight in itself. The area is so peaceful and it is easy to get around.

What an amazing little house....perfect in every way. Excellently maintained and very clean and tidy with everything you need for a stay at the seaside. Positioned perfectly in Old Hunstanton. By day 3 of our stay we booked again for next year. From turning the key when we arrived to (sadly) locking up to leave - the whole week was perfect

We had a perfect stay in Dolphin Cottage. Hats off to the housekeeper, it was very clean. A real home from home with every comfort. The gardens are perfect for our dogs and us too. We love it so much we’ve booked next year. The peace and tranquillity. The position of the cottage , just a short walk to the wonderful beach and Old Town Beach Cafe. Lots of beautiful places to visit without travelling too far. Biggest plus is it’s so dog friendly. All in all just perfect.

Our second time to this lovely cottage. Again it was spotlessly clean,warm and comfortable. There was everything we needed inside and out ( sadly weather not good enough to use garden) . Furniture all lovely and comfortable. Good details in book about cottage appliances etc. The location of Dolphin is brilliant, with a lovely pub and a shop just over the road. Close to beach and bus stop just outside gate. Buses excellent running every hour if you don’t want to use car. Nature reserves with coastal walk all close by and cosy cottage to come back too to relax !

Had a great stay. House was in a perfect location, fairly priced, it was nice and clean and it had everything we needed for the week. Parking was also fine as a space was always available The weather was also kind with nice sunny days. What more can you ask for?

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely location within easy reach of beach and restaurants etc. Car parking space close to cottage. Will be back for my 10th visit!

The cottage was lovely, very clean and well equipped. Main bedroom was extremely spacious. Parking was very convenient for the cottage and the location was excellent with a short walk down Sea Lane to the beach and to the beach cafe, which was also very good and where we ate on several days.
Walking to Holme and back round the golf course. Beach cafe food. New bookshop in Hunstanton. Visit to wildlife reserve.

We've been to Dolphin Cottage a number of times, it was as always in great condition, very comfortable. It's ideally located for beaches, pub's, cafés. The area is brilliant, we love the sense of space you get when you are out. We are dog owners and most of the pubs, restaurants are dog friendly which is essential for us.

Cottage is cosy and so convenient for beach walks and pubs. It was perfect.

Great location, a few minutes from the beach and a stones throw from pubs and restaurants, absolutely spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped. Enjoyed it so much we are about to book again for later in the year. Highlights beach walking, wonderful sunsets.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation within a 2 minute walk of the beach, we enjoyed sunset walks on the beach.

Lovely cottage. Very well appointed in Old Hunstanton village . Only a few minutes from beach. So quiet and peaceful. The local bus service ( right outside the door) ran every hour to Wells or kings lynn . Several places to eat. The cafe on the beach for snacks or breakfast and a few nice ( but pricey) places for evening meals. We were happy to enjoy the Norfolk coast, then chill out in dolphin cottage for evening meal and relax.

At Dolphin Cottage we liked the location to the beach, children play area and secure garden for children/dog. We also thought the agent very knowledgeable and friendly,
