Chalk House was a very comfortable, extremely well equipped and cosy home from home for a Christmas break. The Christmas tree and decorations were very welcoming and set the tone for a very enjoyable Christmas stay in Hunstanton. We enjoyed blustery beach walks every day with the highlight being our Boxing Day walk at Old Hunstanton followed by warm scones at theBeach Cafe. Another highlight was visiting Holkham Hall to see their Christmas display.
Lovely, clean, modern house with everything you could need for a great holiday. Garden was perfect for the grandkids and the dog. Everyone enjoyed the week.
Very enjoyable family beach holiday stay in Hunstanton. The house was very clean, modern and well equipped. Really comfortable beds, everybody slept well. Thank you. Having the opportunity to spend time as a family. We had fun playing board games on the large kitchen table.
We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. The study came in handy to do a little work while there. The estate is pretty with some nice local walks and a nature reserve nearby for dog walks. Everything was clear and well documented with a full guide book to the house. Highly recommend a stay at Chalk house. We enjoyed time in the garden and lovely home cooked family dinners. We did fun day trips to Sandringham, Brancaster, Castle Rising, Thornham and of course Hunstanton.
This is a very beautiful house, stunningly furnished and with a sun trap garden - it was possible to sit outside in March as it’s very sheltered. Wonderful! It’s also a very warm house, and in a very pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. Great for exploring north and west Norfolk, the Hunstanton & Snettisham shops were a delight especially the local bakeries. Highly recommend
