Excellent cottage with all you need for a comfortable stay. Very generous starter pack for our use. A very nice touch. Top quality cookware and extremely tasteful furnishings. Alexa a very nice touch to get the weather forecast each morning! Highlights included good weather, North Creake market ( always good and lucky we were there on the first Saturday of the month), Houghton Hall and the Gormley exhibition, excellent food at The White Horse, , The Hero, Curlews at Titchwell. A great week.

This was our second visit to Avocet Cottage and we were just as thrilled with our stay this year as we were last year. We enjoyed a visit to Holkham, paddle boarding at Burnham Overy Staithe, beach walks

We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. Its a home from home with everything we needed. Our children loved the garden! Fish and Chip from the Mermaid were excellent and the pastries from the bakers in Burnham Market were very tasty. The welcome pack with extra treats for the children was very kind - Thank you Caroline. Also the travel cot and high chir saved on packing. We visited the White Horse in Brancaster - the fish was lovely. An early morning walk at Holkham beach was worthwhile before the crowds and Wells next the Sea for a beach day and crabbing was fun. This was our first visit to Norfolk and we will be back

Another amazing stay again. Thank you for the little note for Alfie Caroline. He brought his little step with him so he could reach this time. The welcome pack was once again first class as was the cottage. Our third stay and have booked again for next year! The weather this last week has been amazing. What a week we have had. We saw a deer at the bottom of the road on the way to Wells this morning as well as Red Kites and Buzzards. Also there are a pair of wrens that hunt round the garden after flies. Once again thank you all very much and see you next year.

This is our 3rd stay in the cottage and was again it didn't let us down . Very clean and tidy . Everything we needed. This year our 4year grandson came with us again . He was happy because he could reach the game table this year . We did bring a stool step with us just in case . Welcome pack was lovely thank you . We have already booked for next year see you then. The weather was the best we have had when we have gone away. We saw deers, red kits . We went to the lifeboat station at Wells next the sea . Grandson loved it esp looking at the boats and the staff were great with him.

We have had a lovely stay in this beautiful and well equipped cottage. Also enjoyed sitting out in the lovely garden and having our meals out there. weather permitting. Our fourth visit to this area of Norfolk enjoyed visiting some favourite places and have found plenty of new ones too. Thank you very much for the welcome pack, much appreciated and enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Avocet Cottage NC. The beautiful well maintained garden was a bonus and we were able to sit and have meals outside when the weather permitted. Would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.The garden and being able to have the use of sun loungers for lazy evenings reading. Also the standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage, including crockery and cooking utensils.

A beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage. The use of original ceramics and paintings makes it more like someone's home rather than a holiday cottage. It has a secluded courtyard garden with garden furniture. The welcome basket had every kind of treat.

This was our 6th stay and we have already booked a week in August. We love Avocet Cottage in North Creake. We used to have our own holiday cottage in North Creake and I loved sailing at Burnham Overy Staithe. We have enjoyed walks, meals out, a visit to Norwich and much more.
Avocet is always welcoming, clean and well stocked. The courtyard is a delight on sunny days.

Your cottage is extremely well equipped and thought out, thank you! We enjoyed birds at Warham Camp, Titchwell and Cley when the weather was good. However, worst may half term weather in years! Love Norfolk!

We have had a wonderful week in North Norfolk at Avocet Cottage as our base. Thank you for the thoughtful welcome pack and for providing everything for a comfortable stay. We have enjoyed watching the wildlife in the field including hares, munkjacs and partridges. The cottage is ideally located to explore the many fantastic beaches. West Runton for fossils and Holkham and Hunstanton for vast sandy stretches and big blue skies. We visited Sandringham and Langham Glass on the wet/windy days - both well worth it. Very sad to be leaving as there is still so much to discover in this beautiful part of the world.

A beautiful and comfortable cottage just perfect for a weekend in this part of the world. The decor is lovely and the owners have thought of everything to make it perfect.The cottage was spotlessly clean. Thankyou for our stay.

A beautiful, comfortable cottage fully equipped with all we could need. The two bedrooms comfortably sleep four. The secluded garden includes a summer house with sitting area and games table. Meeting up with friends at Sandringham was the highlight of the week. We have been holidaying in Norfolk for nearly sixty years and that was our first visit to Sandringham.

The cottage was beautifully presented and furnished throughout. It felt fresh and comfortable and everything was in good order. It was well placed to explore the surrounding area. The view from the bedroom windows was lovely to wake up to. The garden was perfectly laid out and a haven for bees! We had a fabulous week, despite the best efforts of the rain! The view from the bedroom was gorgeous! We watched the Albatross return to its moorings in Wells ... that was a real treat!! and we found the hidden gem that is Hindringham Hall!!

Avocet Cottage is spacious, beautifully presented and very well-equipped., with a lovely garden. The owners have thought of everything you might need on holiday here, from beach towels to a games table in the shed. We really appreciated the plentiful supplies of store cupboard basics.

Last year we had 40C and this year we've had 14C but the cottage kept us cool last year and snuggly with the log burner this year! This was a return visit to your lovely cottage. We have had a good week here with sunny days and no rain. Visited lots of places including Sandringham, Sheringham Park and an excellent walk to the beach at Burnham Overy Staithe. Thanks also for the prosecco etc., very welcome.

Beautifully styled and decorated cottage, it is very comfortable and well equipped. Great weather so did not need the log burner. Excellent hospitality box was very welcome. For dinner we can recommend the Hoste in Burnham. Shopping in Holt is great and we can recommend Back to the Garden farm shop outside Holt.

Superb in every way. We will stay at Avocet again in early September. We know North Norfolk well as we owned a cottage in North Creake for 16 years. The highlights were simply revisiting our old haunts; Burnham Overy Staithe and Brancaster Staithe where I used to sail, The White Horse which used to be The Lobster Pot, the wonderful walk across the salt marsh to Overy beach, a visit to Norwich, two meals at our favourite eatery, The Duck at Stanhope and an absolute treat, Socius in Burnham Market! We’ll be back!!!!

We enjoyed a lovely week in Norfolk staying at Avocet Cottage. The cottage is immaculate and and so we'll cared for . Very warm and comfortable and lovely coastal theme to it . A very big thankyou to the owners and housekeeper too .Would recommend to anyone and would love to stay in the future.

Lovely Cottage - Everything you could want or need is there! Beautifully furnished and decorated, also spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was superb - thank you for your generosity. The weather was mixed, but we managed plenty of walking - The coastal path never fails to make an impression - particularly the beach at Holkham. Can recommend The Parlor at Binham, and The Hero at Burnham Overy Staithe.

This is the 3rd time we have been to this delightful cottage. Spotlessly clean and in our view perfect in every way. The garden is beautiful and the location is ideal for exploring the North Norfolk Coast. Absolutely lovely cottage, Welcome pack was much appreciated! Really enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. It is definitely worth a return visit. The fruit and prosecco were a nice surprise so thank you for them. Beautiful Cottage, immaculately clean " Perfect!!" Enjoyed our week here very much.

We close our lovely week here on a monumentous day with the passing of our remarkable queen, feeling so fortunate to have visited the beloved Sandringham a couple of days ago.The house was immaculate, Thank you, and we had everything we could possibly need. It was an excellent base to explore all the sights that this picturesque area has to offer. Highlights for us have been; Breakfast at Morston Hall, being served by Galton Blackiston himself; Holkham Hall followed by watching the Duchess on the TV; amazing beaches ( Hunstanton, Wells, Holkham); air shows for free with F-15k's dancing in the sunshine and hiding through the clouds; interesting visit at Walsingham and Norwich Cathedral, and we have been blessed with beautiful sunshine all week, only raining today, which was probably fitting. Look forward to returning again, but next time we will be bringing our dogs, not to Avocet of course though!

Outstanding from the cottage itself to the fantastic garden and the top notch welcome pack. We loved the night lights what a love touch if you have little ones around. The cleanliness is second to none and the furnishings fantastic. You hae thought of everything. Great View from the bedroom window, used the binoculars to spot hares in the field and also red legged partridges which also sat on the summerhouse roof one morning. Plenty of red kites as well. All in all a fantastic week and we will be back next year. Thank you all

You have really thought about all the things that your guests need to have a relaxing and luxurious holiday. Many thanks for all the M&S food goodies, these were polished off fairly quickly. Wonderful weather so we made use of the stunning garden and games room which certainly kept a small person occupied. We have stayed in many North Norfolk holiday cottages over the last 10 years and this is one of the best. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

What a perfect week! This little house and North Norfolk combined to make an excellent team. The cottage itself is absolutely amazing and included everything we needed or could have needed and the location meant that everything we wanted to see was in easy reach. Particularly love the courtyard garden which is a little sun trap and full of beautiful flowers and the buzzing of insects. Even saw a Hummingbird yesterday. Thank you.... we will be back!

What a perfect holiday cottage! It has everything you could want and more. We had a wonderful week enjoying many long walks along the coastal path and the surrounding countryside. Good lunch at The White Horse Brancaster and supper at The Hoste. The best coffee is at Thornham Deli and delicious sourdough from no33 in Burnham Market. Had a lovely week celebrating our anniversary and a birthday. Super cottage, lovely and clean and cosy! We visited Holkham nature reserve, the beach is breathtaking (Wear boots or wellies). Sunday lunch at the Ostrich Inn South Creake and lovely foo d at Thw White Horse in Brancaster. We had a celebration meal at no Twenty9 in Burnham Market, a really stunning meal, a great place to go for a special occasion. Many Thanks

We really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely cottage. We squeezed lots of activities in, but our favourites were a visit to Holkham Hall for pumpkin carving and a day at the beach at Wells. Creake abbey is also great for food and shopping and its just down the road. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great week in this lovely cottage. It has everything. So well thought out with such attention to detail and sparkling clean. The welcome pack and flowers were a specially nice touch, thank you! We had lovely sea food rolls at the crab hut Brancaster staithe, and lovely walks along RSPB Titchwell and the coastal path, and a lovely circular walk from the cottage via Creak Abbey.

High quality of fixtures and fittings. Comfortable temperature, delightful ambience, wonderful shower. Everything top notch. Absolutely nothing to complain about. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and 10 out of 10 for the garden. It was perfect.

We've had a wonderful week at Avocet Cottage, revisiting places we know and love on the North Norfolk coast, and also finding out about new places - Such as the Burnham Area. We visited the Local Burn Valley Vineyard and winery and many local pubs. Excellent accomidation and thank you for the welcome package - much appreciated. The weather was great, the gold course in good condition, and the tides were right for walking and wird watching - We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.

Absolutely delighted with the beautifully present cottage & stunning little garden too! Everything has been carefully considered to allow visitors to enjoy their stay, which we have, very much! The welcome package was very much appreciated.
Highlights on our trip with the children was the Roar dinosaur park, bewilderwood, seal trip, crabbing in wells along with the train ride to the beach.
There is so much to do in Norfolk and North Norfolk is simply wonderful. Im sure we will return and we would absolutely recommend Avocet Cottage.
