A wonderful repeat of Christmas 2023. 1 Knights Cottage is the perfect base to explore our favourite destinations ; Thornham Deli, Holkham Hall and the newly refurbished White Horse Holme-Next-Sea. Knights Cottage is homely and has all the facilities one would need for a successful family holiday.

Have used holiday cottages since 1990. Your cottage is firmly a top 5 accommodation. Exceptionally high standard. Perfect location.. Everything was outstanding. Would hope to rent again
Great house, really well equipped. Incredibly comfortable beds with the flexibility for twin or double in one room. All rooms have en-suites. Kitchen and open plan living space work really well.
Fantastic location for Hunstanton at one end and Burnham market the other end.
We had a lovely time staying here. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and a great location. We enjoyed walking to the beach and visiting Drove Orchards and the Thornham Deli. We were also very lucky with the weather!
Lovely property perfectly placed in Norfolk.
Second stay at this property. Still very clean and crisp.
Lovely cottage, nicely furnished and good location.
Location is superb. We like Thornham very much and being within walking distance of the Orange Tree,Lifeboat Inn,the Deli and the beaches makes for a terrific base. Facilities at the cottage were very good and outside space was private, and enclosed for our dog.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful and in one of our favourite locations on the Norfolk Coast. The design works so well as a holiday let and you will immediately feel at home when you walk through the door. The views from the attic bedroom are amazing- take your binoculars to watch the wildlife in the evenings. We stayed with our two sons and their partners and everyone agreed that the cottage was perfect for a week's stay with lots to do on the doorstep for outdoor types. Watching the sunset from the beach at the Titchwell reserve surrounded by wildlife; walking the coastal path, cycling along Peddar's Way and the quiet country lanes; Holkham Park to Wells by bike (and discovering the culinary delights at the deli on Staithe Street); shopping for locally sourced food at Drove orchards (and Pizza at Eric's there); fishing on Cley Beach and eating our catch; I could go on...
Lovely views from the front bedroom windows to the sea. Some beautiful sunsets. Boutique hotel Interior design made the most of the space. Hard working nesting pigeons in garden bush. Excellent sourdoughs from Drove Orchard farm shop and Gurneys. Daily walks on Brancaster beach
Great location and nice, clean open-plan property.
We had a wonderful week away in Thornham The property was better in reality than the photos Beautiful views from the front windows, we enjoyed watching the Marsh Harriers hunt.
The kitchen was well equipped and beds very comfortable
Fabulous property, well situated for everything in Thornham and beyond.
Property was spacious and beautifully decorated and very clean. Beds were comfy and the benefit of having a bathroom for each bedroom was excellent.
Highly recommend.
Lovely property, well maintained and furnished to a high standard. Was really nice to be able to visit Thornham Deli, The Lifeboat and The Orange Tree without having to drive.
A lovely light and airy home. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable relaxing seating area with good standard dining table and chairs, breakfast bar chairs also a good addition. Garden furniture also very comfortable and looked good! Bifold doors from kitchen to garden, excellent addition with dogs welcomed at the cottage.
Open plan, new lovely cottage with comfortable furnishings and good decor. Cottage also in a great location.
The property was better than we expected. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We loved the decor and how well equipped the property was.
The bedrooms were larger than they appeared on the photos of the property! This was a bonus! The location and the views of the sea were amazing. It was also really handy that each bedroom came with an en-suite. It was really handy that there was a crabbing kit in the garden, as we’d forgotten to pack ours - so we made use of that! 🦀 Thank you for a lovely stay!
Beautifully appointed, very clean at 1 knights Cottage, with lovely furnishings and very well equipped. Gorgeous cottage and we loved our stay. Will recommend to friends thank you
would say this has been one of our favourite properties over many years of various holiday rentals. Comfortable, light, stylish and in a good location. A lovely break after a very stressful year. We met the cleaner as we were leaving and she was absolutely lovely. I hope everyone stays safe and that Sowerbys have a good year after the difficulties of the past year.
We liked the overall quality of interiors and beds and bedding, the location and quality of design and interiors. A beautiful and stylish holiday home. Such a wonderful location and so many things to do.
The combination of.a well thought out and beautifully designed property with a very practical and tasteful garden was more than I expected. We all felt it was intelligently designed and thought through. Tasteful and high quality appliances. Really lovely. My son said “are we going back to the hotel”? And that sums it up. It felt boutique rather than borrowed!
