Burnham Overy Staithe
A pretty coastal village with a busy harbour which used to be predominantly a fishing village, but is now a very popular place for sailors, walkers and bird-watchers, with the area being designated as “an area of outstanding natural beauty”.
During the summer there is a ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island, a bird and seal sanctuary. For the more energetic it takes about 30 minutes to walk along the coastal foot
The village has a good local pub called The Hero which makes great home-cooked food using locally sourced ingredients.
Crows Nest Cottage Burnham Overy Staithe

Crows Nest Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage which has been updated to provide comfortable holiday accommodation with two interconnecting bedrooms. It has an enclosed garden with off road parking and is only 2 minutes walk away from the harbour at Burnham Overy Staithe and the coastal path to the beautiful sandy beach. There is an excellent pub within walking distance and a great selection of shops and restaurants in Burnham Market, which is only 2 miles away.
Flagstaff Boathouse Burnham Overy Staithe

Flagstaff Boathouse is in the grounds of Flagstaff House which was once the home of Captain Woodget of the Cutty Sark and is situated in a prime position at Burnham Overy Staithe. The Boathouse has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. It has absolutely breath-taking views from the open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen across the creek, the staithe and out to sea. It may be rented with the adjoining Flagstaff Cottage to provide accommodation for up to 12, or with Flagstaff East and West for up to 23 people.
