Churchside

We had another very restful and enjoyable holiday in Churchside. Churchside is in an excellent location in Thornham. It was good to spend time with family and enjoy all that the North Norfolk coast offers.

Stayed here a few times before great cottage in a fantastic location. Plenty of character, very clean and lovely bedrooms.

Lovely warm, comfortable and stylish house. A perfect base for a bright, cold winter week! Warm and welcoming. Clean and well equipped.

Churchside was exactly what we were after for a long weekend. Right in the heart of Thornham with pubs and great dog walks right on the doorstep.

Lovely cottage in a friendly village. Liked the way that both en-suite bedrooms were separated by a stairwell which meant you couldn’t hear a peep (or a snore) from your companions. Cottage had everything you might need - although with 2 good eating pubs within walking distance we didn’t need much! Whilst my companions slept, I was able to amble up the street to The Deli for my coffee. Deli opens at 8am. Bedrooms are large and the bedding was comfortable and felt expensive. All the best beaches are close by and the bird life is incredible. There are great walks from the front door. We had a magical time. Thankyou. Swimming at Brancaster in warm shallow waters - in June! Seeing so many birds from Whitethroats to Spoonbills. Chatting to locals in both pubs.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a stunning area, all you need in close proximity, pub, deli, bus stop, walks, beach for a familiy of four or two befriended couples.

The property was just as we expected as we had stayed in the property before, and we would definitely stay again. We really like the location and the cottage is beautiful and decoration is excellent.

Better than Expected - General quality of internal specification. At Churchside we liked the decor, kitchen, bathrooms, beds, electrical goods. Lounge is nicely spacious. It has all been very nicely fitted out and the beds/linen are very comfortable

Our stay at Chruchside was - as good if not better than last year! We like it most for the lovely furnishings, warmth and size. i also love the nearness to church yard and out look.

Lovely setting in the village by the church. Great position for Thornhams' three pubs and access to footpaths.

10 out of 10 for cleanliness at the proerty. We loved the interior design. Easy parking. Very warm. We had a problem with the power going off one day. Sowerbys had the caretaker with us within about 15 minutes. He in turn called the maintenance manager and the problem was fixed. Superb service.

Great position in the village, lovely proximity to beaches & walks. Loved visiting & had a lovely week there. Thank you

Exceeded our expectations
A very high level of furnishings and decoration. I had also assumed it was on the main road, so was delighted to find it on a side road which was much quieter.
We had such a good time.
Sowerbys booking system is excellent very easy to choose and book. The person my wife spoke to the week before we arrived was friendly and helpful.

The photos and description of this cottage gave a very good and accurate representation of the property.
It is very nicely designed, lovely bedrooms, modern and clean throughout, good size kitchen and extremely well equipped.

This cottage exceeded our expectations, it was really well appointed, spacious and well equipped.

We really liked the central position, layout and space, it had everything we needed.

We are very happy to recommend this as an ideal retreat and the people in the village were very friendly.
