The Coach House is an idyllic retreat which is part of a picturesque vicarage (built in 1850) and located in the heart of the royal Sandringham Estate. It has been recently renovated throughout to an exceptionally high standard to provide a luxurious hideaway for adults, seeking the comfort of a boutique hotel, but also the space and privacy that a holiday cottage provides.
Upstairs is a gorgeous bedroom suite with wonderful uninterrupted countryside views and a comfortable sitting area with a wood-burning stove. Downstairs there is a second lovely bedroom and a superb kitchen. It is ideally located only 2 miles from Sandringham House, 5 minutes drive to Houghton Hall & Gardens and a short drive to the beautiful North Norfolk coast.
The Coach House is available for stays of 2 nights or more throughout the year. Please note that all bookings can start and finish on any day of the week.
Accommodation
Ground Floor
Entrance hall with attractive arched mirror and table.
Kitchen: Attractive country style hand-painted kitchen with a cream Everhot oven, Belfast sink, microwave, Nespresso Compatible coffee machine, larder fridge, and a washing machine. There is a dining table which may seat up to four guests.
Bedroom 2: Lovely room with a king-size Laura Ashley cream metal bedstead with a luxurious M&S cashmere pillow top mattress dressed with Egyptian cotton linen, bedside tables and lamps and a walk-in wardrobe. There is a hairdryer.
Bathroom: Luxurious newly refurbished bathroom with a roll-top bath, separate walk-in shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Complimentary toiletries from The White Company are provided for guests.
There is a travel cot, high chair and changing mat available for use (at no additional charge) if required.
First Floor
A wonderful light and spacious bedroom suite with lovely views from its three windows across open countryside and the church and village of Flitcham.
At one end is a super king-size bed with Egyptian cotton bed linen, slippers and robes, with a comfortable sitting area at the other end - complete with antlers to make this the perfect country retreat! There is a comfortable sofa and armchair around a wood burning stove, smart TV and DVD player.
Outside
The Coach House has its own parking area and a pretty lawned garden, with wrought iron garden furniture, within the glorious grounds of the vicarage. It is a lovely quiet place to sit and enjoy the countryside or for al fresco dining.
It is only a 10 minute drive to renowned pubs such as The Crown at East Rudham or The Dabbling Duck at Massingham. The acclaimed Hoste Arms in the charming village of Burnham Market is within 20 minutes drive away.
