Peewits is a luxurious penthouse quayside apartment with absolutely breathtaking views of Wells harbour, with a gorgeous balcony at the front overlooking the sea and a second south facing balcony at the back. No expense has been spared in furnishing and equipping this stunning light and airy coastal apartment with underfloor heating and air-conditioning throughout making it the perfect temperature in all weather conditions. Cleverly designed so guests can enjoy a sociable open plan living space with wonderful views, together with two beautifully presented bedrooms (with super king and king size beds), each with their own contemporary bath /shower room.This is the ultimate coastal location situated on the quay within walking distance of the beautiful coast and all of Wells' shops and places to eat, plus the added advantage of lift access for the less mobile and a designated parking space.
Accommodation
The penthouse is accessed via a private parking area (through an archway next to The Granary building) on the Quay.There is an entrance lobby where guests may choose to use the lift or a wide staircase to access the top floor.
Each room in the apartment has underfloor heating heating with thermostatic controls, together with remote controlled air-conditioning units. There is a Sonos music system and Wifi available.
Open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with large glazed windows giving stunning views across the harbour.
Kitchen: contemporary well-equipped kitchen, generously supplied with outdoor melanin tableware, plenty of crockery and glasses. Contains an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, under counter fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a second fridge with ice-box. Doors open out to the back balcony.
Dining area: overlooks the harbour and has a large dining table with four chairs.
Sitting area: overlooks the harbour and decorated in a contemporary coastal style with a large comfy corner sofa, day-bed sofa, coffee table, Smart TV with Sky package and an electric flame-effect fire. Glazed doors open out to the front balcony.
Bedroom 1: Has a lovely harbour view with a small balcony. With a super king-size (6ft) bed, bedside lamps, overhead ceiling fan, built-in dressing table & stool, TV, built-in wardrobe with mirrored doors. En-suite shower room; with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Situated at the back of the apartment with a king-size (5ft) bed, bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: With a bath with fixed shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside
Front balcony: A fabulous place to sit and watch Wells harbour - simply magical at any time of the year! There are two high tables and stools with wall-mounted heaters to keep you warm on chilly evenings.
Back balcony: A south facing suntrap overlooking the back of Wells. Has two outdoor lounger chairs and wall-mounted heaters for warmth.
There is the advantage of a designated parking space for one car in the private Quayside Court parking area. .
It is literally steps to the quay and a short walk to the great selection of shops and places to eat in Wells-next-the-Sea.
