The Old School House is a charming conversion of part of a Victorian school, presented with a combination of period and contemporary decor. This unique high-ceilinged period holiday home comfortably accommodates six guests with plenty of living space and charming original features like stripped wooden floorboards. Downstairs there is a light and airy sitting room which opens into a contemporary kitchen/breakfast room, with the advantage of a separate snug to escape to. Upstairs there's a quirky en-suite king-sized bedroom and a further double bedroom and twin bedroom, sharing a large contemporary bathroom. It's Ideally located in the heart of Burnham Market with the advantage of being set back from the road with an attractive walled garden. It's only a short walk to the village green with its excellent selection of independent shops and restaurants and less than 10 minutes drive to the stunning North Norfolk coast with its wide open sandy beaches.

Ground Floor

Entrance hall: attractive entrance with original stripped wooden floorboards, round table with globe, a period wood burner (decorative only). There's a cupboard with the original school coat hooks. Steps lead down from here to:

Sitting room: a wonderful high-ceilinged room with a comfy L-shaped sofa and two armchairs, a large Smart TV, a period wood burner (decorative only). Leads through to:

Kitchen/breakfast room: a light and spacious contemporary kitchen with integral appliances including an under counter fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric oven with halogen hob and a microwave.
There are windows overlooking the church, skylights and a large wooden dining table with six leather chairs. A large sideboard and dresser provide useful extra storage space.

Utility room: with an additional tall fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, a sink and cupboards. There is a high chair available if required.

Cloakroom: with hand basin and WC.

First Floor

The stairs continue up to a landing where there are a further two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Bedroom 2: good-sized room at the front of the house with a wrought iron double bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe, ornamental fireplace, built-in cupboard and shelves.

Bedroom 3: with twin beds that can be made up as a king-size bed if requested, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelves and an ornamental fireplace.

Bath/wet room: spacious contemporary bathroom. The shower area has a drencher head, there's a separate bath, heated towel rail, hand basin and WC.

Outside

The Old School House is located along Front Street, set back from the road, with the garden to the front.

The south facing garden is walled and fully enclosed, with paved and lawned areas. There's an outside table and chairs to seat six, a separate deck-chair/lounger area and an outdoor table tennis table for guests to use.

Whilst there is no designated off-street parking, there are no parking restrictions and it should be possible to park outside the house.
