Treat yourself to a stay in this fabulous original windmill dating back to the 1840s, stylishly converted and extended to create a unique luxurious holiday home. This is a truly stunning place to stay; beautifully presented with gorgeous countryside views from every window, perfect for families and friends with the historic Old Mill comfortably sleeping eight, spread over five floors and includes two lovely sitting rooms, breathtaking kitchen/dining room with spectacular views, two unique round bedrooms and has a contemporary extension with a further two bedrooms and a bathroom. There's a fully enclosed large garden and it's quietly located away from the road, yet less than 2 miles from the charming village of Binham with a local pub and renowned priory, and within 5 miles of the beautiful Norfolk Coast. The bustling coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea may be reached within 15 minutes drive.

Please note that there is an option to sleep up to 12 guests with the use of a detached 2 bedroom cottage in the grounds - this is under a separate listing The Old Mill and Cottage.

Accommodation

OLD MILL

Ground Floor

Entrance hall: with cupboards housing the controls for the cinema room.

TV/Sitting room: gorgeous circular room with exposed brick walls and shutters for all the windows. There is 55 inch flat screen smart TV.

Bedroom 1: Beautifully presented room overlooking the garden with full-size twin beds, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and hooks for clothes hanging.

Bedroom 2: another lovely room with a king-sized bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and hooks for clothes hanging.

Bathroom: has a walk in shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

There is the advantage of wireless broadband throughout the mill.. The Mill is heated by ground source heat pump

First Floor

Kitchen/Dining Area: This is a fabulous light and spacious area with simply breathtaking views across open countryside. Large glazed doors may be opened to seamlessly bring the outside in (with a safety rail to prevent any accidents).

Stylishly presented with a superb dining area, a contemporary wood burner (with wood provided) and a well-equipped modern kitchen which contains an electric range cooker, dishwasher, pull-out drawer fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine.
The dining area has a table which seats up to 10 guests and has lovely countryside views. There is a SONOS speaker (app required to use).

A few steps lead across into the original mill:

Sitting Room: Beautifully presented circular room with exposed brick and flint walls and shutters. Tastefully furnished in mid century style with two sofas, occasional chairs, a piano, selection of books and games and a lovely feature spiral staircase leading up to the next floor.

Second Floor

Bedroom 3: Unique circular bedroom with exposed brick and flint walls, a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps.

Third Floor

Bathroom: gorgeous bathroom with lovely views and exposed brick walls. There's a free-standing claw-foot bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Fourth Floor

Bedroom 4:: white-washed room at the top with twin beds. Please note that for safety reasons there is no access up the staircase out to the roof.

Outside

There is a large shingled driveway at the front of the Old Mill with ample parking space for cars.

The large gardens surrounding the mill are totally enclosed and guests will have exclusive use. There's a lovely big tree with swings for small children and plenty of space to run around.

There's a large terrace outside the cottage with outside table and curved wooden benches. There's another terrace seating area nearer the Mill with an outside metal table and two benches to seat 8-10.

NEW Wood fired hot tub for up to 6 people. Logs,fire lighters and instructions are included - additional fee £100.00. Please let us know if you would like the hot tub when you make your booking.

Cart Shed: this is open and contains a table tennis table which guests are welcome to use. Bicycles may be stored in here.

The beautiful coast is less than 5 miles away, with Stiffkey being the closest place to join the Norfolk Coastal path. Less than 2 miles away is the picturesque village of Binham with its famous priory, a good local pub, butcher and shop.
