Flagstaff Garden House is a delightful newly refurbished white-washed "log cabin" situated in the grounds of Flagstaff House (the former home of Captain Woodget of the Cutty Sark) situated in a prime position close to the sea in Burnham Overy Staithe. This is a lovely place for two to stay which is all on ground level and has a light and airy living room with a comfortable sitting area, dining table seating up to six and a fully equipped new kitchen.
There's a beautifully presented twin bedroom overlooking the garden and a newly installed shower room. With its effective heating and good insulation this is a warm and comfortable place to stay throughout the year - simply perfect for walkers or anyone wishing to enjoy being by the sea!
Accommodation
All ground level
The Garden House is a lovely white-washed wooden cabin which does have the real "wow effect" when you open the door. It is beautifully presented and has a light and airy open plan living area with distinct sitting, dining and kitchen areas. Off the living area are doors to the separate bedroom and the new shower room.
Sitting area: has an electric wood-burning effect stove, 2 armchairs, a sofa, chair, coffee table and a cupboard housing the cleverly hidden flatscreen TV. There are double doors opening onto the shared garden.
Dining area: has a good-sized table with 6 chairs.
Kitchen: a newly fitted fully equipped kitchen with a built-in electric oven and a fridge (with an ice-box).
Bedroom: lovely room with 2 windows overlooking the garden and out to the sea. There are twin beds (which can be zip linked to make a super king on request), a bedside table and lamp, digital radio with a docking station, built-in wardrobes with shelving and hanging space.
Shower Room: a newly fitted good-sized room with a walk-in shower, vanity unit with basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Duvets and pillows are natural down / feather
Outside
There is a separate shingle drive, with off-street parking, leading to The Garden House which is in the grounds of the Flagstaff properties.
Laundry Room: Is in an out-house with washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and sink. This is shared with Flagstaff East and West Wing.
There is a large garden, mainly lawned with garden furniture. The garden is shared with 4 other Flagstaff properties.
One dog is welcome, subject to owners agreement, for a fee of £40.00 per dog.
