Anchorage is a stunning contemporary house with breathtaking views across the salt marshes out to sea. This unique coastal "upside-down" house has been cleverly designed to take advantage of the spectacular views with the sociable open plan living area and kitchen on the first floor, with a full height glazed arch window looking out to sea. A top floor mezzanine has been creatively converted to a chilled comfy lounging area, enjoying the stunning views.

This luxurious detached house is idyllically located opposite the small road leading to the beach and within a short walk of Salthouse's excellent Dun Cow pub and Cookies crab shop. On the ground floor there are two gorgeous super king-size bedrooms (one with balcony overlooking the sea) and two king-size rooms, making this perfect for two families or up to four couples. Outside there is the advantage of a large fully enclosed south facing garden and private off street parking for two cars.

Bedroom 1:
gorgeous room at the front of the house with a private balcony and stunning views across the salt marshes out to sea. There's a huge wooden super king-size bed to sink into and enjoy the lovely views. Thoughtfully furnished with bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobes with ample clothes storage, privacy blinds, USB charging point and armchair.

En-suite shower room: contemporary walk-in shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 2: another stunning room with a super king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, lots of built-in storage including a cleverly concealed TV and USB charging point.

En-suite bathroom: contemporary bath with shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 3: lovely room overlooking the back garden with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps and built-in wardrobe.

Bedroom 4: has a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps and a chest of drawers.

Shower room: contemporary shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Utility room: really useful room with tea and coffee making facilities, so no need to go upstairs for a drink! There's a fridge/freezer and a washing machine and the back door.

Garden room: cosy sitting area to escape to with a sofa and glazed doors opening into the garden.

First Floor

The modern staircase has open treads and is not steep with glass sides.

Kitchen/dining area: Open plan with central island with breakfast bar and newly equipped with a double electric oven, hob, integral dishwasher and an integral microwave. There's a dining table with seating for eight people.

Mezzanine Floor

The open staircase leads to the mezzanine. Please note that this staircase is not suitable for the very young or very old.

Loads of cushions and comfy seating create a chilled lounging area with stunning views.

Outside

Please note that Anchorage has security cameras to cover the front access and drive, front door area and rear garden

Anchorage is conveniently situated set back from the coast road with a shingle drive and parking space for two cars at the front of the house. There is the advantage of an electric charging point for cars, the house is also powered by solar panelling.. Landscaped gardens surround the detached house.

At the back of the house is a large south facing fully enclosed garden mainly laid to lawn with teak garden furniture and outdoor patio heaters for comfort. There's also a charcoal barbecue on the terrace, perfect for families and friends to enjoy spending time outdoors.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome and there is a warm outside tap for washing any salty dogs.

The garden is fully fenced and backs onto farmland where there is a small-holding with a variety of small animals!

The beauty of this place is being able to walk from the door to the gorgeous coast and to a great pub. The picturesque coastal villages of Cley and Blakeney are only a couple of miles away, as is the scenic village of Wiverton with its famous cafe & fruit farm as well as the Wiveton Bell.
