The House on the Green is an exceptional Grade II listed Georgian house situated in a prime position on Burnham Market's village green. Its imaginative design and tasteful furnishings make it, in our opinion, one of the finest holiday houses available in Burnham Market. Downstairs there is a superb open plan kitchen, eating and sitting area which opens onto the attractive south facing walled garden. The first floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and a small shower room, with a delightful loft conversion providing a second floor bedroom and landing. A perfect place to stay and enjoy the excellent selection of local shops, boutiques and galleries and the delicious food & drink at The Hoste Arms.

Whilst the owners of this property are happy to accept one dog, it is on the basis that they are not allowed on furniture, upstairs or beds and the supplement for the dog will be £35.00

Sitting room: Beautifully presented with open working fireplace, 2 sofas, armchair, Freeview TV, DVD,doors to garden.

Games Room: Games table.

Cloakroom: Hand basin and WC.

First Floor

Landing with armchair overlooking the green, built-in cupboard with hanging rail.

Bedroom 1: Delightful beamed high-ceilinged room with king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, tv, armchair, wardrobe and electric log-effect wall fire. En-suite bathroom: bath with shower mixer taps, twin basins, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds, bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers.

Shower Room: walk-in shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Second Floor

Landing with pitched ceiling and seating areas.

Bedroom 3: With a pitched ceiling. Twin beds with storage drawers, bedside table and lamp.

There is a hairdryer in the cottage.


Fully enclosed south facing walled garden, predominantly paved with a variety of pots and shrubs. There is outside furniture.

3 night break: 70% of full week price
4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price

3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the standard charge is £20.00 per week or part week; however some cottage owners request a higher amount and this will be specified in the individual property description.
