Malvern is a spacious high-ceilinged Edwardian house, refurbished in 2016/17 by its new owners for use as their family holiday home, with the creation of a fabulous new kitchen/living room and three new bath/shower rooms.This substantial semi-detached house is offered here for reduced occupancy outside school holiday periods, with the use of 3 bedrooms (excludes the top floor). It is perfectly positioned within the heart of the bustling coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea, within walking distance of the picturesque quay and gorgeous sandy beach. Malvern has been redecorated throughout and contains many original Edwardian features including an attractive entrance hall tiled floor and original cornicing. This is a perfect house for family or couples to share, having three good-sized bedrooms and two new bath/shower rooms on the first floor, with a new shower room on the top floor. Outside there's the advantage of a fully enclosed south facing landscaped garden with garden furniture, and the big bonus of dedicated off-street parking for three cars.

During school holiday periods Malvern (5 bedrooms) must be rented with the use of the top floor.

Laundry Room/Cloakroom: newly converted room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, WC and additional cupboard space.

Kitchen/Living Area: a fabulous newly created room which has become the heart of this house, providing the kitchen, dining area and an additional comfortable sitting area with a large TV and French doors opening out to the garden.

Kitchen area: well-equipped with a gas hob, electric fan oven and a microwave/combination oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge/freezer and a breakfast bar with five bar-stools.

Dining area: has a huge oak table with ten matching oak chairs.

Living area: has a large comfy 4-seater sofa and armchairs, wall-mounted flatscreen freeview TV, wide selection of books and games and toys for all ages to enjoy.

There is a wide sweeping staircase up from the hallway with a bannister.

There is a travel cot and a high chair available for use.

Bedroom 1: a light and airy room at the front of the house with two large windows and an original fireplace. There is a new king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe, a large sofa, further seating and a TV/DVD player.

Bedroom 2: has a double bed, bedside lamps, two chests of drawers, and a wardrobe. New en-suite shower room: contemporary shower cubicle, vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 3: has twin beds, bedside lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a writing desk.

New Family Bathroom: contemporary newly fitted bath with fixed overhead shower and folding glass shower screen, vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.

Second Floor

New Shower Room: newly created and spacious with a walk-in shower, vanity unit, WC and heated towel rail.


There is a shingle drive at the front of Malvern with off-street parking for three cars.

The rear garden is fully enclosed and is part paved with wooden outside table and chairs for ten, a Weber barbecue, rattan sofa and coffee table and a landscaped area.

Malvern is ideally positioned only a short walk away from The Buttlands with the excellent Globe Inn and The Crown , within walking distance of the quay and all of Wells' amenities.

3 night break: 70% of full week price
4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price

3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Prices may be subject to change.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the standard charge is £20.00 per week or part week; however some cottage owners request a higher amount and this will be specified in the individual property description.
