Malabar is a beautifully presented flint and brick bungalow, the result of a complete renovation, creating a stylish contemporary holiday home. Great care and attention to detail has been taken in furnishing Malabar and in ensuring that guests have a comfortable stay, with tasteful contemporary coastal decor and high quality hotel style beds and a high pressure hot water system. Malabar is light and spacious with plenty of living space for four guests, having a lovely sitting room and two conservatories, with the advantage of two well-appointed bedrooms each with their own bath/shower room. With all the accommodation on one level, Malabar is also suitable for less mobile guests. It is enviably located in a quiet close with ample off-street parking and an attractive private lawned garden, within walking distance of Burnham Market's village green. North Norfolk's spectacular wide open sandy beaches are less than 10 minutes drive away.

All Ground Floor Accommodation

Immaculately presented throughout with wood-effect tiled flooring in the living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. There are highly efficient thermostatically controlled electric radiators and a wood burning stove, making it warm and inviting throughout the year.

Malabar is suitable for less mobile guests as the accommodation is all on one level with no internal steps.

Entrance hall: with a console table and a large coats cupboard.

Sitting Room: beautifully presented light and spacious room decorated in a contemporary coastal style with comfy sofa and armchair, well-stocked bookcase, freeview digital Smart TV with DVD player, a ClearView wood-burning stove with a supply of logs provided. There is a door through to:

Conservatory: lovely spot to sit overlooking the garden with rattan sofa and chair and a coffee table.

Kitchen: a wonderful well-equipped kitchen with a stainless steel extractor, ceramic hob, AEG electric oven, microwave, integral slim-line dishwasher, integral fridge freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is plenty of room for dining with a round table with six chairs.
Please note that the washing machine and tumble dryer are stored in the garage.

There is a door through to a second conservatory: with breakfast table and two chairs.

This homeowner has taken great care when choosing the beds and bedding to try to ensure the most comfortable nights sleep for all their guests. The beds are hotel quality with 1500 pocket sprung mattresses and high quality duvets and pillows.
There is also the added advantage of striped beach towels provided in addition to bath and hand towels.

Bedroom 1: beautifully appointed spacious room with a superking zip-linked bed (which may be configured as twin beds if required), bedside tables and lamps, bedroom chairs, chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. En-suite shower room: Walk-in shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2: another lovely room with twin beds (which may be configured as a super king-size bed if required), bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and a bedroom chair.

Bathroom: contemporary bathroom with a bath with fixed overhead shower with drencher head, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside

Malabar is quietly positioned in the far corner of Kestrel Close with ample off-street parking for cars and boats in the front drive. (Please note that the wheel chair ramp shown in the front photo is no longer present.)

There is a garage available for guests to use which contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and a sink, as well as additional storage space for bicycles.

There is a side gate leading to the attractive rear garden, which is fully enclosed and private, being surrounded by high fence and a high hedge, making it safe for children and dogs. There is a paved terrace with outside table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue.

3 night break: 70% of full week price
4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price

3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Prices may be subject to change.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the standard charge is £20.00 per week or part week; however some cottage owners request a higher amount and this will be specified in the individual property description.
