Lovedays is a period cottage which has been completely refurbished to a high standard by its owners, for use as their family holiday home (aptly named by their children as they "love days in Wells!") Downstairs has been opened up to create a sociable open plan living area with a wood-burning stove, a super kitchen and the advantage of a separate utility area. Upstairs there are 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 contemporary bath/shower rooms, making this an ideal place for a family or 2 couples to stay throughout the year. It's ideally located in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea, only a short walk to the bustling quay with its fishing boats and close to the great selection of shops and places to eat, including the excellent Crown Hotel and the Golden Fleece.


Lovedays | Sitting room

Ground Floor

Entrance hall with plenty of space for coats and boots storage. Cloakroom: With hand basin and WC.

Open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen area: A sociable living area with oak flooring throughout furnished in a contemporary style.

Sitting area: has a wood-burning stove, 2 comfortable leather sofas, armchair, bean-bag, wall-mounted smart digital TV (wifi enabled), and a selection of books & games. There is the advantage of wireless broadband.

Kitchen area: contemporary kitchen with granite work tops, well-equipped with halogen hob and electric oven, integral dishwasher, integral microwave and integral fridge. There is a kitchen table with 6 chairs.

Utility Room: a really useful area which contains a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, Belfast sink and additional space for coats and boots storage.

The gently curving wooden staircase (not steep) leads up from the sitting area and has a hand rail.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: A light and spacious room with oak flooring and an ornamental fireplace. There is a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. En-suite shower room: Walk-in power shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 2: Has original beams and twin beds, bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers, a built-in cupboard and a wall-mounted smart TV.

Bedroom 3: Has twin beds, bedside table and lamp, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

Bathroom: Lovely spacious bathroom which has a separate shower cubicle with a power shower, a large free-standing bath, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.


There is space to park immediately outside the cottage for loading/unloading, however cars should not be left here for long periods. There are plenty of available parking spaces nearby, either in the neighbouring roads or in the public car-park less than 30m away.

At the front of the cottage is an enclosed paved area with an outside table. Sorry, but dogs are not permitted to stay.

With such a great central location it is only minutes walk to Wells' varied selection of independent shops and places to eat, as well as the quay. The beach may easily be reached on foot, or via the miniature railway.

3 night break: 70% of full week price
4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price

3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Prices may be subject to change.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the standard charge is £20.00 per week or part week; however some cottage owners request a higher amount and this will be specified in the individual property description.
