Guest Reviews
Better than Expected. A really big house which we lost each other in. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. Beautiful views from the lounge. Two dishwashers and the big utility room was also a bonus.
Megan Smith - 22/03/2019
Very spacious. Felt like a well-loved family home rather than a rental property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved that fact that there were family sized cooking pots/bowls etc to match the size of the house and the potential number of guests.
J. Meiring - 25/05/2018
The space was excellent for a party of 10, which included 4 grandchildren between the ages of 8 and 15.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with all our family.

Burnham Overy Staithe
Location
A pretty coastal village with a busy harbour which used to be predominantly a fishing village, but is now a very popular place for sailors, walkers and bird-watchers, with the area being designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is an excellent local gastro-pub called The Hero which re-opened after extensive refurbishment and has quickly gained a great reputation.
During the summer there is a ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island, a bird and seal sanctuary. For the more energetic it takes about 30 minutes to walk along the coastal footpath across the marshes out to the vast expanse of sandy beach which is quite often deserted. The large black Burnham Overy windmill dominates the skyline for miles around and on the outskirts of village there is a fine collection of 18th century mill-buildings next to the river Burn.
