Violet's Cottage Binham

Sleeps 4, from £550 to £975 per week

Violet's Cottage is a fabulous renovated and extended detached brick & flint cottage, idyllically located overlooking the picturesque Binham Priory, Norfolk's most complete and impressive monastic ruins dating back to 1091. This delightful cottage has been carefully designed with great attention to detail to create a lovely spacious holiday cottage for two couples or a family. On the ground floor there's a superb sociable kitchen/breakfast room with a wood-burning stove, as well as a separate sitting room with a second wood-burning stove. Upstairs there are two equally luxurious high-ceilinged bedrooms, each with their own contemporary en-suite shower room. Guests may enjoy the privacy of a landscaped south facing patio with outside furniture and shrub beds, with lovely countryside views. There's no worry about parking either, with a private driveway and parking space for two cars. It's only minutes walk to the local village shop and a good local pub, with North Norfolk's spectacular wide open sandy beaches less than 10 minutes drive away at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham.

Guest Reviews

We have stayed at this beautiful cottage whilst working at Thursford Christmas Spectacular and we cannot give enough thanks to Mick and Sue for their hospitality and kindness. The cottage is immaculately finished with everything one could possibly need. Spotless, it has a calming yet warming atmosphere and has welcomed us home on many a wintry night. Thank you for three magical months here!

A relaxing cottage with great and easy to live in lay out. Immaculately presented and good quality fixtures and fittings. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this cottage.

We too had a lovely break in your beautiful cottage. Thank you! Lots of gems in the village too - the Priory, the cheese and cow milk vending shop, Trevor's little Emporium and the friendly village pub. The RAF Dome Museum at Langham was also very interesting and well done. And we'd recommend visits to Houghton Hall and Felbrigg Walled Gardens too!
