The Meadows

We had a really lovely stay - the Bungalow was warm & cosy, spacious and comfortable - our second stay here. Beds, bedding & sheets all luxurious , a real Joy to be back there! On arrival we were greeted by a warm, cosy environment, complete with Christmas tree, chocolates for all, a bag of logs for the wood burner and large tray for the turkey - thank goodness as we had Forgotten! Comfy sofas, plenty of space for the grandsons, especially the conservatory where they could do their drawing & make Lego! Our first Christmas away from home, and one of the best!

A comfortable spacious bungalow in a very quiet location. We had a very relaxing week and enjoyed stunning walks without once using our car. Thank you. Stunning walks from the doorstep, viewing geese from the garden, excellent pub close by, comfortable bed.

Overall a very nice stay thank you. The cottage is well kept and was clean on arrival. A good location near the Holme reserve and beaches. Also close to the Bus stop!

Lovely open living and kitchen space, opening out onto the garden. Just right for our family meet up. Vert well equipped kitchen. Made some good meals and baked a birthday cake. Frequently saw Red Kites flying over the garden. Lovely public field directly opposite the gate, with benches and picnic tables.
Generally the whole house was clean and very comfortable with nice quality bedding. Would love to return. Stay highlights, Wildlife and beach.

A family home in the middle of a small village, close to the pub and a lovely walk to the beach.
Well equipped, with a great garden big enough for a game of rounders.
Plenty of places to visit on a wet afternoon with the Grandchildren.

Proximity to coastal path and other visitor attractions. Peaceful location. Bright, spacious, homely, well equipped and nicely presented property.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely spacious bungalow. It is very well equipped to a high standard , warm with comfortable beds and good quality bed linen and towels. The garden is a good size and there is plenty of parking space. Lots of space in the bungalow, information available and games or books to read during bad weather. It is only a short distance to the White Horse pub where we were made welcome and served a good variety of meals. The beach is also close by and a handy green space opposite either for a quick walk or sit on the seats available. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location too. A big thank you and hope to return again health permitting.

The Meadows was a great base for our family holiday in Norfolk. A short walk to the beach, nature reserve & the pub, with the added bonus of access to the Coastliner bus service, if we didn't want to drive. Plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out & have their own space. Well appointed with pretty much everything required for a relaxing time.

A wonderful place to stay, well equipped, very nicely decorated, and bathrooms with decent sized sinks and lighting. Towels were big and fluffy, also lots of well lit mirrors. Lots of space in the entrance hall with plenty of hooks for coats. The garden and driveway were large and not overlooked. We loved our short break here and would be happy to return. We had a fantastic weekend all together which we don’t get to do very often, and everyone enjoyed staying in this wonderful house. We loved staying here and would love to return in warmer weather so we can enjoy the garden!

We have now stayed at The Meadows twice and will certainly book again. As mentioned previously the property is clean and comfortable in an excellent location and provides good value. It's in a good location very near to a good pub serving meals. Good quality mattresses and bedding. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of comfortable seating areas. Ample safe on site parking a plus point

Spaciousness of the house but also the garden, everywhere was very safe for our 1 yr old granddaughter. Lovely thick, soft, fluffy white towels. Very happy with the location and the cottage, weather changeable, but overall a wonderful family holiday after freedom from lockdown.

The Meadows is light, spacious and airy in a good location. A lovely place for a holiday in a quiet village. Only a short walk to the beach and coastal path. Very handy having a good pub serving food just round the corner.

At The Meadows we like the accessible parking. Good location. Very quiet. Good quality mattresses and bedding. Very well equipped. We had a very comfortable stay at Meadows and have already booked again this year.

The privacy and a peaceful location at The Meadows we liked as we have at home. The property was perfect for us as we too live in a spacious bungalow. The Meadows is a very well maintained holiday home.

Loved it! - It felt larger than expected from the photos and proximity to the beach was great. it was beautifully spotless. We liked The Meadows for - The large open plan living/kitchen/dining space, with windows all the way around making it so light and airy. We would stay again!

We like the size and layout of The Meadows. A lovely property we all enjoyed our stay, plenty of space for six people and would definitely use again.
