The Chapel Binham

Sleeps 4, from £435 to £855 per week

The Chapel is a fabulous former Methodist Chapel dating back to 1868, which has undergone extensive refurbishment. This is a unique two bedroom property which has been sympathetically converted and restored to retain dramatic high ceilings and generous windows, making the accommodation light and airy.
It's ideally situated in the heart of the Binham village, within walking distance of a village shop and local pub. This is an ideal base for exploring the North Norfolk Coast, with the Georgian Market town of Holt about 7 miles away, with the stunning coast just a 10-15 minute drive to Blakeney, Wells or Stiffkey.

Guest Reviews

The Chapel is ' Heaven on Earth ' and a credit to its owners : ) Better than Expected Simply Perfection We liked the degree of quality to the decor and furnishings

L Stafford - 08/06/2018

Once again we have had a truly fabulous stay in what is becoming an annual pilgrimage to Norfolk. This year we came across the Chapel at Binham and let's just say we have found a hidden gem!! The Norfolk coastline is awash with 5 star accommodation but the chapel is right up there. Beautifully decorated throughout and with a clever, loving hand. We have had a great New Year in the Chapel and before we forget, the village pub is really good, nice atmosphere and lovely pub grub!!

Robert, Laura and Monty - 30/12/2016

A wonderful week in the beautiful Binham Chapel which has been made all the more enjoyable by having beautiful accomodation with roaring fire, hot baths and cosy beds to come home to!

Starkey family - 29/10/2016

The Chapel was perfect and we had a wonderful time with plenty of hot water and heating thankfully! We will definitely be booking with you again for our little trips to Norfolk.

Garrad party - 07/10/2016

We have had a lovely week in your beautiful home. Love the peaceful village of Binham with the Priory Church. Excellent location for all the surrounding attractions.

The Cutbushes - 07/10/2016

We have had a great holiday in your lovely chapel. We have had a great nights sleep in the very comfy king size bed and enjoyed the rain shower in the en-suite. We have had some lovely meals down the road at the local pub and due to the lovely weather for September have had some great walks across Holkham beach. Looking forward to returning to the Chapel soon!!

Andy and Sue Mason - 30/09/2016

We have had a lovely time in this beautifully restored chapel. The facilities included were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The beds were extremely comfy, best nights rest in a long time...can we take them with? Thank you so much for looking after such a special little place and turning it into a characterful home! Log burner was a boon!!

Sally and Johnny Kent - 23/09/2016

Sublime romantic retreat from the fast pace of London! What a fantastic chapel conversion, keeping the architectural details but adding luxurious comforts too! The sleigh bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is so beautiful.
Tips for foodies like us: Walsingham Farm shop has lovely local produce, excellent meats and cheese. Guerneys Fish Shop in Burnham Market is excellent. A favourite place for coffee is Stiffkey Stores. And a new place we have discovered is The Art Cafe at Glandford. A must for lunch is Wiverton Farm cafe, food is delicious!

Mr and Mrs Leith - 16/09/2016

We have had a wonderful week in these peaceful surroundings. The Chapel has been beautifully restored to a very high standard. We briefly joined village life by going to the local fete, the Sunday morning service and a concert on Sunday afternoon.

We brought our bikes and enjoyed cycling to Holkham Hall and down to Wells. We also visited Felbrigg, Blickling Hall, Muckleburgh Collection and the Dome at Langham.
We shall always remember where we were when the EU Referendum results were announced!!
Thank you for sharing your dream holiday home.

Sharon & Chris Atkins - 24/06/2016

We have had the most marvellous seven night holiday at this wonderful restored chapel. It has quite obviously been thoughtfully renovated keeping it's original charm whilst offering modern facilities. The new King Size bed is wonderfully comfortable. The power shower is amazing. The weather has been changeable but because of the locality of the Chapel there has been so many interesting places to visit within a short car ride.
A visit to Holt is recommended.
We look forward to returning to the property when it becomes available.
Thank you

Julie and John - 16/06/2016

We have had a really lovely stay, despite some very unseasonable wether. We have very much appreciated the obvious care and attention you have paid whilst renovating The Chapel, it retains it's beauty whilst also being extremely comfortable and well equipped. Amazing comfy beds, wonderful shower, everything we needed in the way of kitchen equipment etc.The thigs we have enjoyed whilst we were here hide and seek at Binham Priory, Temple's Seal Trip, Anchor Inn Morston (delicious food) Walsingham Steam Railway, Walsingham Farn Shop (Highly Recommend the Ribeye Steak), Holkham Beach and Crabbing at Blakney.

The Wood burner has been amazing who'd have thought we would need it in June.
