The iconic Chapel's conversion from a church building to a stylish home has been superbly undertaken, creating a warm and sumptuous holiday home, located in the heart of one of Norfolk's most popular coastal villages. There's a beautiful vaulted ceiling in the open plan living area complete with cosy wood burner, perfect for curling up with a hot chocolate after a long walk along the coastal path. The well thought out design and layout is carefully zoned, with a modern styled kitchen with island and dining area with in-keeping pew bench seat. In the living area there are two armchairs, ideal for reading the morning newspaper or latest novel. There is also a downstairs shower room.The Chapel boasts an oak stair case leading up to the mezzanine with three elegantly styled bedrooms and a good sized family bathroom.
Ideally located nestled between Thornham's The Orange Tree and The Checkers restaurants, whilst at the far end of the village is Thornham Deli, Eric's fish and chips, Drove Orchards farm and independent shops. It's the perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of the salt marshes and enjoying a relaxing walk or picnic and sunbathe on the unspoilt sandy beach.

Ground Floor
Entrance Porch: opening up onto main living area
Sitting area: a light and airy room, with vaulted ceiling. Comfortably furnished with two sofas, wood burning stove, large Smart TV, bluetooth soundbar and a DVD player.
Kitchen/ dining area: a lovely modern well-equipped kitchen, including, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge. There is a good-sized dining table with pew bench seating with original chapel chairs.
Utility Room: with fridge freezer, washer/dryer and storage. Leads through to
Wet room: walk in shower, WC and hand basin.
There is the advantage of underfloor heating throughout and Wifi provided in the house.
First Floor
Open oak stairs with glass balustrades leading to mezzanine landing .
Bedroom 1: stylishly decorated room with a king-size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and hanging rail.
Bedroom 2: a cosy double bed, bedside table and lamp, a wardrobe and TV.
Bedroom 3: there are two full-size single beds which zip link to make a king-size bed (please request preference at time of booking), bedside table with lamp, chest of drawers and hanging rail.
Bathroom: contains a bath with shower over, WC, and hand basin.
Outside
Whilst there is no designated off-street parking, it is possible to unload directly in front of The Chapel. Parking in and around Thornham is generally unrestricted and is generally possible along High Street or Church Street.

There is a beautiful unspoilt beach for those willing to hike the mile or so out along the coastal
In the centre of the village, locally caught seafood is served at the award winning Orange Tree gastro pub, opposite All Saints church which is an impressive building with 15th century foundations. Thornham has a third good place to eat - The Chequers Inn which serves delicious home-cooked pizzas and is ideal for families.
Thornham has a great range of local amenities with the excellent Thornham deli, shop and cafe, a childrens' playground and a tennis court.
Just along the coast road heading towards Hunstanton is Drove Orchards which opens seasonally for the sale of a wide range of locally sourced fresh foods from its award-winning farm shop, has an amazingly wide variety of pick-your-own fruits, fishmonger, lifestyle shopping, plant nursery and play area..
One of Norfolk's best places for fish and chips is Eric's Fish & Chips (behind Drove Orchards) which is owned and run by a chef formerly at Titchwell Manor. It offers delicious freshly cooked fish and chips to eat in or takeaway.
