The Old Barn is an attractive brick and flint detached coastal cottage, approximately 350 years old, which has been refurbished in a contemporary style, with the addition of a wonderful new garden room. It has beautiful walled gardens to the front and rear and is situated only a few minutes' walk from a good pub and within walking distance of the wonderful coast and nature reserve at Holme-next-the-Sea.

Ground Floor
Entrance into hall with wooden floor and cloakroom; WC, hand basin, washer/dryer.
Kitchen: contemporary cream kitchen with wooden work tops. Well equipped with new range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster.
Dining Room: Beamed ceiling, glass dining table and 10 leather chairs.
Sitting Room: Large room with beamed ceiling, 3 sofas, 50" Smart TV and Bluetooth sound bar. Leads through into ...
Garden Room: Overlooking south facing garden, wicker furniture and log burner.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: King size bed, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe, drawers, TV, DVD. An en-suite with shower, sink, loo and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: King size bed, bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers, TV, DVD, cupboards, with neighbouring
Shower Room: With shower and hand basin.
Bedroom 3 & 4: Both with twin beds, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe and tallboy.
Bathroom: Bath with power shower over, heated towel rail, hand basin and WC.

Outside
Fully enclosed walled garden with gated shingle driveway. South facing patio with garden furniture, private lawned area surrounding the barn. Lovely variety of shrubs and plants.

Old Barn seemed to have had a bit of work done. Just so smart. Bedding all the same and really comfortable. Things we liked was it was comfortable. The garden room. TV. It felt like a home from home.

At Old Barn we liked the spaciousness, ideal for a large family group. Mattresses were very comfortable

Even bigger and better than we had expected! So much space for the children to run around in and separate spaces for the adults. My children were staying at Old Barn with their families and found it had everything they could want.

Holme-next-the-sea
Location
Holme is also famous for being the site of Sea Henge, a 4,500 thousand year old Bronze Age tree circle discovered on the beach. There is a fabulous stretch of open sandy beach backed by sand dunes and the Nature Reserve where there are a number of hides and many different varieties of birds have been spotted.
There is a good local pub, The White Horse, serving good local food and ales. Hunstanton golf course, a renowned links course, runs into Holme and there are riding stables nearby too.

4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price
3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.
Prices may be subject to change.
Please note that where dogs are permitted the standard charge is £20.00 per week or part week; however some cottage owners request a higher amount and this will be specified in the individual property description.
