Sleeps 6, from £850 to £1690 per week

Greystones is a beautifully presented coastal three-storey house with stunning open views across the marshes and out to sea. This superb period Norfolk flint and brick family second home has been imaginatively extended and renovated, including a fabulous light and spacious new kitchen cleverly designed to enjoy the lovely views, a contemporary downstairs shower room, utility room and a landscaped private garden. It is ideally located in a quiet lane in the heart of Holme-next-the-Sea, backing onto the marshes, within a short walk of the coastal path and Holme's gorgeous unspoilt sandy beach and the nature reserve. The house is offered here for reduced occupancy outside school holiday periods, with the use of a maximum of three bedrooms only for up to 6 guests, who may choose from the five good-sized lovely comfortable bedrooms (two on the second floor and three on the first floor) and four bath/shower rooms. There is the advantage of underfloor and central heating, making this a luxurious and comfortable "home from home" from which to enjoy the beauty of North Norfolk throughout the year.

Please note that this option is only available during off season periods. During school holiday periods Greystones must be rented with the use of all five bedrooms (maximum 10 guests).

It's comfort, the wonderful provision of absolutely everything we needed, from spare bulbs to kitchen equipment.
A lovely peaceful situation too.

Thank you for allowing us to "borrow" your home in Norfolk. We have celebrated a ruby wedding and a 70th birthday in the most comfortable and well-equipped house. Our family have congregated from Scotland, England and Australia and loved our time in Norfolk.

Sidgwicks - 16/07/2014

Lovely cottage, so comfortable . We all had a great time.

A beautiful and very well equipped house in my favourite part of the world. We came with friends to celebrate a 40th birthday and could not have had a better place to stay.

Kate and Nathan - 16/09/2013

Beautiful house/location. Excellently furnished - very tasteful and fully equipped. 10 mins walk to beach. Wonderful family holiday, thank you.

Mason Family - 16/08/2013

Despite it being the coldest, snowiest Easter we can remember, we all (ages 6 weeks to 65) had a wonderful time. This was mainly due to this lovely house which has been so thoughtfully furnished and provisioned. The wood burning stove is a bonus, and after exhilarating walks on the shore, it was a joy to return home. We hope to stay here again, thank you.

Jones Family - 16/03/2013

Great house, spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has gone into making this house very comfortable. Thank you, we had a lovely cosy annual get together.

Colemans - 16/02/2013

A lovely house in a lovely setting. Christmas was spent watching the Barn Owls hunt in the fields behind and the occasional glimpse of a Marsh Harrier. A perfect spot for a family gathering.

Cox and Hall families - 16/12/2012

This house has a very welcoming feel to it, we all enjoyed our stay very much. The kids and in particular, their dog, especially enjoyed the beach.

Holme-next-the-sea

Location

This pretty village is located within the North Norfolk Heritage Coast and is renowned for being the northern end of the 50 mile long Roman Peddars Way that starts near Thetford. At Holme the Peddars Way path meets with the Norfolk Coastal Path which goes all the way along the coast to Cromer.
Holme is also famous for being the site of Sea Henge, a 4,500 thousand year old Bronze Age tree circle discovered on the beach. There is a fabulous stretch of open sandy beach backed by sand dunes and the Nature Reserve where there are a number of hides and many different varieties of birds have been spotted.
There is a good local pub, The White Horse, serving good local food and ales. Hunstanton golf course, a renowned links course, runs into Holme and there are riding stables nearby too.
