The new owners have taken great care with the renovations to create the ideal family holiday home which includes a stunning contemporary new kitchen and stylish spacious living room. Up to ten guests may be comfortably accommodated with three bedrooms on the ground floor and a further two bedrooms on the first floor, making this an ideal layout for two families or multi-generational groups. This lovely house has been decorated and furnished to a high standard using a mix of contemporary and vintage pieces, with the added advantage of a large private garden and ample parking space. With a sweeping driveway off the coastal road, Four Furlongs is the ultimate Norfolk hideaway, ideal for anyone wanting to explore the beauty of the North Norfolk coast, and being within walking distance of an excellent local pub and village store.

Ground Floor
Entrance hall: with plenty of space for coats and boots storage.
Kitchen/dining room: a fabulous newly created light and airy contemporary room with glazed doors overlooking the garden. It's a very well-equipped new kitchen designed to have everything needed to cater for large groups of family and friends. Contains two electric ovens, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a drinks fridge. There is a breakfast bar with bar stools. At the far end is the dining area with a glazed ceiling and a large dining table to seat ten, with a combination of chairs and bench seating.
Utility/cloakroom: with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and WC.
Living room: lovely spacious room with a wood burning stove, two large comfy sofas, two armchairs, foot-stool, bookcase and large Smart TV.
Bedroom 1: beautifully presented room with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
En-suite shower room: contemporary new walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: has zip-linked beds which may be configured as twin beds or as a king-size bed (unless advised this bedroom will be made up as twin beds), bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: has a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe and a door to the back garden.
Bathroom: bath with shower over, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
There is the advantage of free wifi provided in the house.
First Floor
The stairs lead up from the hall and are not steep.
Bedroom 4: has lovely views and a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 5: has a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and clothes hooks.
Shower room: contains a walk-in shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside
Four Furlongs is ideally located on the edge of Stiffkey with a sweeping driveway and large gardens surrounding the house. There is plenty of parking space for several cars in the private drive.
There's a lovely large lawned garden at the back of the house with plenty of space to play or to sit and relax. The garden is completely enclosed and safe for children and dogs. There is a terrace with garden furniture including a large wooden table and 12 chairs and a charcoal barbecue.
Conveniently located within walking distance of the Norfolk coastal path across Stiffkey marshes and less than half a mile to the Red Lion pub and Stiffkey village stores.

Stiffkey
Location
Stiffkey is a picturesque coastal village with one of the oldest stretches of saltmarshes along the Norfolk coast. It is an important wildlife habitait and is an ideal base for walkers and ornithologists with the Norfolk coastal path passing through here. It has an excellent village pub/hotel called The Red Lion which has a good reputation for local ales and good locally sourced food. It is also home to the well-stocked local farm shop/cafe: Stiffkey stores. The beautiful sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are approximately 10 minutes drive away, with the harbours and boat trips from Blakeney and Morston within 10 minutes drive to the east.

3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the standard charge is £20.00 per week or part week; however some cottage owners request a higher amount and this will be specified in the individual property description.
