East Wing is a lovely coastal cottage full of charm in the sought after village of Thornham. The location is great! Just nestled in the village but just off the coastal road, this cottage also has the advantage of having one or two views over Thornham's salt marshes and out to sea. If you like Thornham, early morning walks through the salt marshes to Thornham bay then this is an ideal.This cottage is perfect for one large family sharing with accommodation for eight guests with one family bathroom and a ground floor shower room. An enclosed garden and space for parking. The living room has a lovely feature brick fireplace with wood burning stove, a bright room with plenty of comfortable seating and large glass doors that lead onto the garden.

Entrance Hallway: with plenty of room for coats.

Living area: A large bright sitting area comprising of two large comfy sofa and two arm chairs that surround the large brick fireplace with wood burning stove. A beautiful and bright room which has a wall of glazed door that lead out onto the garden. This main living space also has a dining are with table, chairs and bench seating for eight. A lovely staircase leading up to the first floor.

Kitchen: A lovely light kitchen with painted units and granite work surfaces and finished to a high specification. There's an electric oven and a separate electric hob with extractor fan, integral fridge and integral dishwasher.

Utility room: with a washing machine and fridge freezer

Snug sitting room: A bright room with views to the garden via french doors with sofa, armchair and Smart TV.

Shower room: with a large walk in shower with dual shower heads, WC and hand basin.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps and a chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2: a twin room with two single beds, bedside tables and lamps, lovely views.

Bedroom 3: with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps and a chest of drawers.

Bedroom 4: lovely room with gorgeous sea views. a double bed, chest of drawers and bedside table and lamp.

Bathroom: with both a bath with mixer tap and a walk- in shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

Outside

East Wing is ideally located away from the coast road down Ship Lane in the popular coastal village of Thornham.

A large drive leads to the five bar gate and the parking area where there is parking space for two cars.

The garden is enclosed and well-maintained, being mainly laid to lawn with a patio areas and outside furniture for 8 guests.

There is access onto the Norfolk coastal path and the scenic walk across the marshes to Thornham's gorgeous sandy beach. Guests are spoilt for choice with excellent local places to eat and drink within a short walk away, including The Lifeboat Inn and the award winning Orange Tree pub.

Thornham

Location

At the western end of the North Norfolk coast, Thornham is situated on the scenic A149 coastal road, roughly half-way between Hunstanton and the Burnhams. This is a village of fewer than 500 inhabitants, however it is now one of the most popular coastal villages in the area with its excellent selection of places to eat, the unspoilt coastline and nearby RSPB reserve at Titchwell.
There is a beautiful unspoilt beach for those willing to hike the mile or so out along the coastal path, but the characteristic landscape here is one of marshes and salt water inlets. Thornham had a prosperous harbour 200 years ago (particularly for smugglers it seems), and still has a small boat harbour today, as well as rugged Thornham Creek, which is a popular spot for artists and photographers. Down by the marshes The Lifeboat Inn, built in the 16th century, provides excellent food and drink throughout the day.
In the centre of the village, locally caught seafood  is served at the award winning Orange Tree gastro pub, opposite All Saints church which is an impressive building with 15th century foundations. Thornham has a third good place to eat - The Chequers Inn which has a gastro pub style menu focussing on the best the coast has to offer.
Thornham has a great range of local amenities with the excellent Thornham deli, shop and cafe, a childrens' playground and a tennis court.
Just along the coast road heading towards Hunstanton is Drove Orchards which opens seasonally for the sale of a wide range of locally sourced fresh foods from its award-winning farm shop, has an amazingly wide variety of pick-your-own fruits, fishmonger, lifestyle shopping, plant nursery and play area.. 

One of Norfolk's best places for fish and chips is Eric's Fish & Chips (behind Drove Orchards) which is owned and run by a chef formerly at Titchwell Manor. It offers delicious freshly cooked fish and chips to eat in or takeaway.
