Beech Cottage

A week at Beech Cottage is a wonderful, 'bolthole' experience, for me and my dog, lots of walks and cosy evenings in front of the wood burner at this time of year. I absolutely love visiting this cottage and look forward to staying again in June 2024. Everything in the cottage is always spotless and very well organised.

This cottage was a wonderful combination of functionality and pleasing aesthetic! The house had everything I needed and it was so practical. There were plenty of hocks and shelves in all the right places. The bathroom was a joy to use - the shower was brilliant. Almost the best thing for me was the garden which had been divided into three really lovely sections with gates into each one - very useful when you have a little dog. The parking was very helpful and convenient too. The village is idyllic - peaceful and quiet - and we didn't need to get in the car to go for great walks.

Delightful, thoughtfully well equipped cottage in a quiet village. The cottage is well positioned for walking. We were only there for the weekend but did The Burnhams walk on Sunday with lunch at The Hero.

Guestbook review: Excellent cottage for a relaxing stay for two plus a dog. The cottage has a welcoming friendly feel as soon as you arrive and is extremely well designed with with great taste and high quality materials making it a pleasure to be there. The owners are to be applauded for the way they have tried to think through what a guest needs for the stay with lots of detailed touches in each room right down to hi viz jackets for walkers and collars for the dog. We loved it and have booked two visits in 2024. Thank you for letting us use Beech Cottage. We enjoyed Local restaurants beaches and walks. North Norfolk is a beautiful county anyway made better by the luck with the weather.

We have been to Beech Cottage before and enjoyed our visit again. We especially like the location, quiet and comfort if the bed. The location- by the marshes with lots of walking available nearby.

I have much enjoyed my return visit this year to Beech Cottage, my bolthole on the coast. I love the peace and quiet of its location. The cottage is always welcoming and has everything I need to ensure a happy and comfortable stay for me and my dog. The garden is maintained wonderfully well. It is always a joy to see how much the owners take care for their cottage and ensure that everything is provided for the visitors' comfort. I love being by the coast and the coastal path in particular. At this time of year, it is not yet too busy and there is always plenty of bird life and nature to enjoy. It really doesn't matter if the weather is a bit changeable, the landscape and sky colours are always captivating. The best bit is coming back to the cottage, lighting the fire to take away the chill of a windy day, and looking back over the many photographs of the day while supper is cooking.

Perfect for a couple with a small dog. Beautifully renovated. The owners have carefully thought of everything for dog owners. Renovated to high spec with top quality materials and genius attention to detail and great location for walks. Fantastic place. We’ve been coming to North Norfolk for 11 years and this cottage is one of the best. We’d love to come again. Thank you to the owners for letting us share their wonderful cottage.

This is a delightful cottage, very cosy with everything so clean and well thought out. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the skeins of geese flying out in the gathering darkness. Being able to park the car close to the property is a real bonus.

Beech Cottage was a perfect choice for our week enjoying coastal walks in North Norfolk. It was warm, comfortable, well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean. Little 'extras' - like a local OS map and torches - were appreciated

We stayed once before and the cottage was as lovely this time as last. Beech Cottage has a The insanely comfy bed, glorious rain shower and a handy washing machine. Perfect location. So quiet, clean and friendly. Brilliant walks on doorstep. Nice outside space to sit in. Easy to use white goods. Would highly recommend

At Beech Cottage the garden was better than we expected. 10 for the cleanliness and 10 for the garden. We liked the dog parlour comfy bed nice garden. We have booked for two weeks next year says it all

Lovely decor, the kitchen was perfectly equipped with good quality pans, quality cutlery and the dishwasher was wonderful as we don't have one at home! We loved using the log burner after getting back to the cottage after long walks through the beautiful Norfolk countryside. We also loved the walk in shower. Everything about the cottage was just perfect! Just wonderful, thank you for a fantastic week's stay in Norfolk!

Beech Cottage was exceptionally clean, extremely well presented, quality furnishings and equipment.. We liked the location, very peaceful. We were very impressed and felt at home very quickly. We.will certainly book it again. The extra Covid sanitising soap and wipes etc were very reassuring.

Better than Expected - Extremely well equipped, everything you could need, very tastefully decorated and furnished, and all in very good order. So glad to have found this cottage. Ideal location for birdwatching at nearby RSPB Titchwell and NNR Holkham.

This is a beautifully maintained and decorated cottage, with everything you could possibly need there. I really enjoyed my stay and loved walking my dog in the surrounding area.

The location of the cottage and its spec were both better than we had expected. Middle of the North Norfolk coastal area which meant we had easy access to everywhere as well as great walks on the door step. It was quiet and peaceful and the bed was so comfortable. The cottage has every mod con! - Looking forward to a second visit. There is so much more to explore and the cottage is incredibly comfortable.
