Beamish was very peaceful surrounded by birds and animals. We liked that beamish is away from hustle and bustle, close to sea, marsh and walks. Very comfortable, clean and well cared for with everything we needed. Tiled throughout downstairs so good for dogs! Warm, nice and light.

The kitchen was extremely well stocked of everything we could need on our trip and the lovely welcome basket was a nice added touch. The garden had so many visitors that we spent a lot of time first thing in the morning "watching" out of the window.
We like Beamish for the location to the reserve and the beach.

Holme-next-the-sea
Location
Holme is also famous for being the site of Sea Henge, a 4,500 thousand year old Bronze Age tree circle discovered on the beach. There is a fabulous stretch of open sandy beach backed by sand dunes and the Nature Reserve where there are a number of hides and many different varieties of birds have been spotted.
There is a good local pub, The White Horse, serving good local food and ales. Hunstanton golf course, a renowned links course, runs into Holme and there are riding stables nearby too.
