6 The Granary

We really enjoyed our week in this property. The rooms are large, light, and comfortably furnished. The apartment is very well equipped with a lot of bits and pieces that you'd have in a home but often don't get in a rental eg scissors, matches and candles. There were also some 'Welcome' items which were much appreciated. The location is excellent - right in town, but also just on the edge, so quiet. View is superb. We were relieved that there is excellent parking on site. Wells is a great place to stay. There are some shops, pubs, buses etc so we were able to have some car free days. Lovely walks in both directions.

As always a lovely relaxing few days just watching the world go by. There was everything needed to cook etc.

Watching the tides and boats. Good walks directly from the property.We thought it was a very well positioned property with great views, comfortable and generally well equipped. Definitely hope to stay again.

We had a lovely stay here, the Granary is a fabulous location, the lift to the 2nd floor was very much appreciated, for the views of course, and for all other places we wanted to visit. We're quite foodie people so, naturally we had a booking for Wells Crab Restaurant, and also managed to have a spectacular fish supper supplied by French's. The obligatory Sunday was at the Globe, and we visited the war Memorial social club to watch football both Saturday and Sunday, and they were very friendly and looked after us well. The Granary apartment itself was great, everything we needed, it did take us a little while to recognise the bottle opener that was supplied, we'd never seen one like that before. The bathroom was lovely and big, the home was lovely and warm, bed was great, and dropping off the keys back to the other village wasn't really a problem as it was on the way home to Suffolk anyway. All in all a very good stay, and I'd recommend it.

The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, equipped as a home with everything you might need. Its location, not only in Wells, such a nice town, but also so central on the quayside meant it was easy and quick to get around nearby. Although not used, the bus service and coastal hopper bus was available very close by. Car parking very close to the apartment entrance was very useful and convenient. The apartment being on the second floor (the lift was very useful) meant there were wonderful unbroken views to the North and East. It was interesting to watch the fishing boats at close quarters depart and return with their daily catch. Our second day, unexpectedly, coincided with the Wells Xmastide day: large craft fair, live music, food stalls, parades, Xmas lights turned on, a flotilla of lit up fishing boats cruising the harbour the last of which has Father Christmas for the kids and finally, a large firework display.

3rd. visit to 6 The Granary. We had a lovely few days including a visit to Thursford Christmas show, fairly kind weather and great fish & chips!! Wells was lovely and peaceful and we were able to appreciate it without the crows that summer brings.

The location is unbeatable, the views over the harbour and out to sea are wonderful. The views and walking on the coastal path and through Holkham . Many lovely places to eat as well.

We had yet another wonderful week staying at 6 the Granary- it’s the 12th time we’ve stayed there so you can guess that we really love staying there - sadly it may be the last time we stay there as the owners have put it on the market . The apartment is really lovely & feels very homely so each time we stay it’s like going home !!! If the new owners decide to continue to rent maybe you could let us know? The ease of parking is an asset as is the lift to get our stuff up to level 2 & down when you leave . When you step into the apartment you instantly feel at home . The views from every window are spectacular so we’ve spent many hours looking out at the ever changing scenes , tides etc . The welcome gifts are very thoughtful & much appreciated. . The apartment is very well stocked with all you need for cooking & the bed is extremely comfortable. All in all it’s a wonderful place to stay & we will really miss being able to stay there . It’s very close to everything you need for shopping, bus service, coastal paths etc etc .

As always a lovely apartment, warm and homely with superb views whatever the weather.

We yet again had a wonderful holiday @ 6 the Granary - everything about the property is excellent & if it feeels like we’re coming home every time we stay ( eleven times now !!! ) Fabulous views , comfortable bed , right on the coastal path , great bus service on the doorstep & fantastic places to eat & shop !!!

This was our third visit to this lovely apartment. We always find it very clean, comfortable, light and airy. Love the views.Always find our visits to Wells and the North Norfolk coast very relaxing, despite the weather being rather unfriendly at times. Just being somewhere different, away from usual routines. (Mainly hospital visits!!)

Stay highlights were the the view from the appartment.

Very comfortable flat in a perfect position with a stunning view. Private parking. All amenities close by. Wonderful walks from the door. Birdwatching excellent. Good bus service.

We had a brilliant stay at 6 The Granary & luckily the weather was good so we did lots of walking . We’ve stayed at no6 for about 10 times now and just love staying there as when we walk through the door we instantly feel “at home “ the apartment is very well appointed & feels very much that it’s” a home “ the kitchen is great & has everything you need to make lovely meals . The huge bed is extremely comfortable & the lounge is nice & comfy in fact the whole apartment is great and the views are amazing from every window .. We are already booked to come again in June & September as we just love stays here !!! Fantastic views , very comfortable apartment, stepping out of the door & going straight onto the coastal path & safe parking for the car ( which we don’t have to use during our stay )

Very nice stay again. Lovely apartment, now the heating system has been fixed it was pleasantly warm despite very inclement weather outside. Some wonderful bird watching despite awful weather -gales. Lots of wintering geese this year for a change.

Nice flat, fantastic views. Recommend Wells Crab House, Bang in Wells, Wells Deli and Golden Fleece as places to eat out. We have stayed a few times before and hope to visit again.

We had a great holiday. Have been many times before and hope to come again next year. The flat is great, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely views too. We mostly enjoyed walking and birdwatching. Lovely area and autumn colours made it especially beautiful.

This is the 8th time we’ve stayed at 6 the Granary & feel very “ at home “ every time we come . The views are fantastic & the apartment is very well appointed. We love coastal walking & we were lucky that the weather was kind to us so managed to walk every day & we went for a lovely evening meal at The Globe - very delicious & the service is really good - we usually go there for an after walk drink too !!! he welcome pack was very nice especially the delicious lemon cake & the wine went down very well.

At 6 The Granary we liked the Sea views , comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. A well appointed throughout home from home. We love coming to stay in number 6 the granary and will continue to do so as long as it’s available.

Our 3rd stay in the apartment - can't get any better. We would give 10 out of 10 for the cleanliness of 6 The Granary, we like the space, comfort, views and plenty of parking. Brilliant !

We know it very well !!!! The views, off road parking, very well equipped kitchen, extremely comfortable bed, all in all a lovely apartment right in the centre of Wells. We’ve already booked up for 2020 & it will be our 6th visit to this apartment so that shows how much we love staying here !!!
