Staithe Barn is a spacious and comfortable first floor holiday home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is located in a converted maltings close to the harbour. It has spectacular views of the picturesque village creek and marshes. Burnham Overy Staithe is a former fishing and trading port and is a thriving centre for dinghy sailing and is close to several nature reserves with wonderful bird watching.
Accommodation
Entrance hall and stairs lead to the large open plan sitting/dining room with the kitchen leading off.
Kitchen: Electric cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
Sitting/Dining Room: Colour TV, VHS, comfortable chairs, wide sofa and sofa bed, dining table seating 6 + high chair.
The balcony is approached from the dining room through French windows, it has a wide sitting area and benefits from patio furniture. The open nature of the balcony may not be suitable for small children, although it does have good railings around.
A Single Bedroom, off the passage from the sitting room, benefits from a single bed, a 'Z' bed and cot.
At the end of the passage are Two Twin Bedrooms, one with a wash basin and airing cupboard with twin double zipped linked beds.
The Shower Room and Bathroom both have a hand basin and WC and are on the other side of the passage.
Sail Loft: Seating area and utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron, leading through to shower room with WC.
Heating and hot water are provided by Economy 7 electricity supplied by £1 meter. Lighting, power and alternative immersion heater are supplied by £1 slot meter.
There are 3 heated towel rails.
There is a telephone available on an 'Honesty Box' system, details of which are given on the notice board at the property.

Burnham Overy Staithe
Location
A pretty coastal village with a busy harbour which used to be predominantly a fishing village, but is now a very popular place for sailors, walkers and bird-watchers, with the area being designated as “an area of outstanding natural beauty”.
During the summer there is a ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island, a bird and seal sanctuary. For the more energetic it takes about 30 minutes to walk along the coastal foot
The village has a good local pub called The Hero which makes great home-cooked food using locally sourced ingredients.

3 night break: 70% of full week price
4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price
3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the charge is £15 per week or part week.
