Pear Tree Cottage is a traditional Norfolk cottage which was refurbished to a high standard in 2010 to provide delightful holiday accommodation for 4, with 2 good sized bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom and comfortable sitting room. It has the advantage of having a wonderful large enclosed garden with many fruit trees and is a short walk to a local pub, and only 10 minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach at Holme.

Ground Floor
Sitting Room: Woodburning stove, 2 wicker sofas, TV, DVD, CD player, dining table, bench and chairs. Leading into . . .
Kitchen: Newly fitted with Belfast sink, granite work-tops, integrated dish-washer, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, electric oven. Door to stairs.
First Floor
Stairs are not steep and there is a handrail
Bedroom 1: Spacious room with double bed, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe, chest of drawers and chair.
Bathroom: "P" shaped shower bath, hand basin, WC, heated towel rail. There is a washer-dryer.

Second Floor
Stairs are not steep and there is a hand rail
Bedroom 2: Spacious loft conversion with high sloped ceiling, twin beds (plus 2 additional single mattresses stored underneath), chest of drawers and dressing table. Views across the marshes to the sea.
A travel cot is available if required.
Outside
Access via shingled pathway from Kirkgate.
Enclosed courtyard area with table and chairs immediately by door. Across the pathway is a fabulous large enclosed orchard garden with barbecue and garden furniture (approx. quarter of an acre).

Holme-next-the-Sea
Location
This pretty village is located within the North Norfolk Heritage Coast and is renowned for being the northern end of the 50 mile long Roman Peddar’s Way that starts near Thetford. At Holme the Peddar’s Way
Holme is also famous for being the site of Sea Henge, a 4,500 thousand year old Bronze Age tree circle discovered on the beach. There is a fabulous stretch of open sandy beach backed by sand dunes and the Nature Reserve where there are a number of hides and many different varieties of birds have been spotted.
There is a good local pub, The White Horse, which has recently been refurbished afer a fire. Hunstanton golf course, a renowned links course, runs into Holme and there are riding stables nearby too.

4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price
3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the charge is £15 per week or part week.
