The Old Butcher's Shop is a delightful 4 bedroom brick and flint cottage which is a well equipped and comfortable family second home. This spacious cottage is conveniently situated in Docking with a local pub, village shop with playground and tennis court within walking distance. It is only 10 minutes drive to the beautiful coastal villages of of Brancaster and Thornham and the charming Georgian village of Burnham Market. There is now the advantage of wireless broadband here.

Ground Floor
Entrance hall with pay phone leading to Cloakroom/Utility Room with WC, hand basin, washing machine, tumble drier and larder fridge.
Kitchen: Large well-equipped farmhouse style with stone floor and beams. Contains a range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, TV and video and a table seating 6-8.
Dining Room: Large oak dining table and chairs seating up to 14 when extended.
Sitting Room: Comfortable room with 3 large sofas, an open working fireplace, widescreen TV, DVD & video, stereo and doors leading to the enclosed garden.
Twin Bedroom: With solid pine beds, bedside chest of drawers, bedside lamps and a wardrobe.
Double Bedroom: With pine bed, bedside chest of drawers and lamps, wardrobe, TV and video.
Family Bathroom: Separate walk-in shower, bath with shower attachment, WC and handbasin.
First Floor
Double Bedroom: Has chest of drawers and bedside lamps, wardrobe, TV and video, and an En-Suite Shower Room containing shower, WC and hand basin.
Twin Bedroom: With chest of drawers, bedside lamps, pine trunk and wardrobe.
A travel cot and highchair are available (if required). The house has oil-fired central heating which is included in the rental price. Logs are provided for the open fire.
Outside
There's a private drive (which has a gate off the road) where there's parking for at least 3 cars.
There is an enclosed rear garden (child-proof but not dog-proof) which is part lawned and part paved with garden furniture and a barbecue.

Docking
Location
All roads in North Norfolk seem to lead to Docking. It's a busy village with an excellent small supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, blacksmith, village pub, a large village playing field, tennis court and bowling green. Docking also has its own coarse fishing lake that is available on a day ticket basis.
The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk Coast and its long, fine sandy beaches. Brancaster and The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club are about five miles away. There are two golf courses in Hunstanton, which is less than eight miles away. The Titchwell Bird Reserve, home to terns and waders is close by. The ultra fashionable Georgian village of Burnham Market, Sandringham and the market towns of Fakenham and King's Lynn are also nearby.

5 night break: 90% of full week price
3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.

Please note that where dogs are permitted the charge is £15 per week or part week.
