Holmhurst is a substantial detached brick and carrstone period 3-storey house, resulting in the perfect 6 bedroomed holiday home for family and friends. It is ideally situated on the edge of Thornham village within a short walk of The Yurt and Drove Orchards, and only 5-10 minutes walk to Thornham's village deli, Orange Tree and other places to eat. There is also the great advantage of a safe and easy walk (or bicycle) along the nearby footpath to the glorious sandy beach, which takes about 20 minutes.
Please note that in low season periods this house may be rented at reduced rates for smaller groups without the use of the second floor bedrooms.
Kitchen/Dining Room: Wonderful spacious room with a fitted kitchen at one end and a large table comfortably seating 12 at the other end. American style fridge freezer and microwave.
Utility Room/Cloakroom: with washing machine, tumble dryer, WC and hand basin.
Children's Room/TV room: High ceilinged sitting room with TV, Blue ray DVD, Wi-Fi, and 2 sofas.
Sitting Room: Attractive room with open fireplace, TV, DVD and 2 sofas.
Downstairs has under floor heating.
Bedroom 1: Light and spacious room with a 6 foot sleigh bed etc. En-suite shower room: Walk-in shower, hand basin,WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Spacious room with field views. Twin beds, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe and TV.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds, bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 4: Double bed, bedside table and lamp, dressing table and chair.
Bathroom: Bath with power shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Staircase (not steep) with a hand rail.
There is a hairdryer.
Bedroom 5: King-size bed. En-suite shower room: Walk-in shower, hand basin, WC. and heated towel rail
Bedroom 6: Full-size bunk beds and a chest of drawers.
Bathroom: Bath, electric shower , hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
There is a driveway leading off the coast road to Holmhurst with a 5 bar gate and plenty of parking space at the front of the house.
At the back of the house is an enclosed garden which is mainly lawned with some mature trees and shrubs. There is a terrace with outside furniture and a barbecue (charcoal).
Please note that whilst a well behaved dog is acceptable at the property, they are not permitted upstairs or on furniture.
PLEASE NOTE: Low season short breaks will be charged at a minimum 80% of the weekly rate (ie a 4-night break charge).
PLEASE NOTE: Security deposit for week commencing 12th August - Hunstanton Tennis Week is set at £650 rather than the normal £100.

There is a beautiful unspoilt beach for those willing to hike the mile or so out along the coastal
In the centre of the village, locally caught seafood is served at The Orange Tree pub opposite All Saints church which is an impressive building with 15th century foundations. Thornham has a third good place to eat - The Chequers Inn which serves delicious home-cooked pizzas and is ideal for families.
Thornham has a great range of local amenities with an excellent village deli and cafe, a childrens' playground and a tennis court.
Just along the coast road heading towards Hunstanton is Drove Orchards which opens seasonally for the sale of a wide range of locally sourced fresh foods from its award-winning farm shop and has an amazingly wide variety of pick-your-own fruits.
New for 2015 is Eric's Fish & Chips (behind Drove Orchards) which is owned and run by a chef formerly at Titchwell Manor. It offers delicious freshly cooked fish and chips to eat in or takeaway.
