Field Barn Cottage has to be the ultimate "get away from it all" holiday home, with the nearest house almost 1 mile away and with the most stunning panoramic views across the neighbouring fields down towards the sea. Despite its wonderfully secluded position, it is only 1.5 miles from Burnham Market's village green with its excellent collection of independent shops, galleries and the renowned Hoste Arms. This is a relaxed, rustic second home which the owner is making available for holiday lets for the first time from summer 2010.

Ground Floor
Entrance hall: with plenty of space for coats & boots, there is a washing machine and cloakroom.
Sitting Room: beamed ceiling and wooden floor, open working fireplace, 2 sofas, 2 armchairs, TV, DVD, music system and a selection of books.
Dining Room: Large room with wood-burning stove and table and chairs for up to 12.
Kitchen: Rustic style with free standing wooden cupboards and original Belfast sink, but modern appliances: Falcon gas stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: Amazing views across to the sea. Double bed, bedside tables & lamps, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, bedside tables & lamps, cupboard.
Bedroom 3: Double bed, bedside tables & lamps, cupboard.
Bathroom: Free-standing Victorian bath, hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 4: Built-in bunk beds and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 5: Bunk beds.
Shower Room: Walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.
Second Floor
There is a converted loft space which is used by the owners as an additional children's sleeping space with futons. This floor is not being included in the rental of the house, although it is not closed off from the first floor.
Outside
Accessed via a long un-made track from a quiet lane and almost a mile from its nearest neighbour. Large open gardens backing onto fields. Outside table and chairs and barbecue.
Please note that whilst dogs are welcome to stay in Field Barn Cottage, they must not be allowed to roam on the adjacent fields, as they will not be tolerated by the local game-keeper.

Burnham Market
Location

A delightful Georgian village which is situated a stone’s throw away from the glorious North Norfolk coastline and is the largest of the 7 Burnham villages. At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street.
Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. As a result Burnham Market attracts many celebrities and cosmopolitan visitors, getting very crowded in the holiday periods, earning the nickname “
