Eastern Cottage has been imaginatively extended by one of Norfolk's leading architects to create a stylish, much-loved holiday home. It has been decorated in a coastal Norfolk cottage style and has a wonderful barn-style kitchen with doors opening onto the attractive walled garden. There are 2 bedrooms which are both en-suite, making this a perfect place to stay for 2 couples or a family. It is situated in a quiet location, within walking distance of a local pub (The Ostrich) and playing field with tennis courts. It is only a short drive to the Georgian village of Burnham Market and the beautiful wide open sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells.
Accommodation
Ground Floor
Kitchen: Wonderful light and spacious high-ceilinged room with a stone floor and a cream Aga electric oven, built-in fridge and freezer (please note that there is no washing machine in the cottage). There is a dining table with 4 chairs. Doors to the courtyard garden.
Cloakroom: with hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: with stripped floor boards, two single beds, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers. En-suite Wet Room: with shower, hand basin and WC.
Sitting Room: With a beamed ceiling and a working open fireplace, 2 sofas, bookcase, TV and DVD. There is a door to the staircase leading up to bedroom 1.
First Floor
Stairs (fairly steep) lead directly into the spacious Bedroom 1: King-size wrought iron bed, bedside tables and lamps, built-in cupboards. En-suite Bathroom: bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside
There is off-street parking to the side of the cottage. The cottage has a fully enclosed walled garden which is part shingled and part paved with a variety of shrubs and plants. It is sheltered and catches the sun throughout the day. There is an outside table and chairs and a gas barbecue.
If required, stabling is available at the nearby farm.

South Creake
Location
South Creake is a very popular rural village with a good local pub called The Ostrich. There is a village green with a children's play area and tennis courts. There is a medieval church, St. Mary's, which hosts various arts and music events throughout the year.
It is home to the the famous Maize Maze which is open in July and August, and is a great way to spend several hours finding clues hidden in the maze.
South Creake is about five miles from the Georgian village of Burnham Market, famous for its interesting shops, restaurants and pretty village green. Six miles to the other side of South Creake is the market town of Fakenham with its wider range of facilities and farmers' market.

4 night break: 80% of full week price
5 night break: 90% of full week price
3/4/5 day short breaks are not usually available during school holiday periods.
