Copper Hall is a spacious Norfolk flint and brick cottage with a wonderful large enclosed rear garden. Until recently it was the owner's main home and it has now been redecorated throughout and made available for holiday lets. It now provides comfortable accommodation for a family or 2 couples with the advantage of a light and airy garden room overlooking the large private garden. It is ideally located in the heart of the highly sought after village of Thornham, within walking distance of the beautiful coast, 3 great places to eat and drink and a good local deli & cafe.

Ground Floor

Entrance via the back door into utility area: useful spacious area with additional cupboard space, washing machine, dishwasher, second fridge. Leads through to:

Shower Room: new electric shower, hand basin and WC.

Kitchen: Overlooks the garden and has an electric double oven, microwave, fridge and freezer.

Dining Room: Recently redecorated. Has an ornamental fireplace, dining table seating 6, sideboard and a walk-in cupboard (where a wooden child's dining chair, books and games are stored),

Garden Room: Newly decorated lovely light room overlooking the large garden, Has 3 leather chairs, a wooden bench seat and French doors opening the garden.

Sitting Room: 2 comfortable sofas, tub chair, flatscreen digital TV, DVD player and a gas coal-effect fire.

First Floor

Stairs are not steep and there is a hand rail. All the bedrooms were redecorated at the end of 2011.

Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table and stool, built-in cupboards with plenty of clothes storage space.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds, bedside table and lamp, built-in storage cupboards.

Bedroom 3:Single bed, bedside light, chest of drawers and hooks for clothes hanging.

Bathroom: bath, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Outside

There is a drive leading round to the back of the house where there is a shingled parking area for 3 cars.

Copper Hall has a wonderful rear garden which is completely enclosed and perfect for children to run about! It is mainly lawned and has been well-maintained with well-stocked mature plants and shrubs. There is a wooden pergola with a paved outdoor seating area with garden furniture.

Thornham

Location

At the western end of the North Norfolk coast, Thornham is situated on the scenic A149 coastal road, roughly half-way between Hunstanton and the Burnhams. This is a village of fewer than 500 inhabitants, however it is now increasingly popular with its excellent selection of places to eat, the unspoilt coastline and nearby RSPB reserve at Titchwell.

There is a beautiful unspoilt beach for those willing to hike the mile or so out along the coastal path, but the characteristic landscape here is one of marshes and salt water inlets. Thornham had a prosperous harbour 200 years ago (particularly for smugglers it seems), and still has a small boat harbour today, as well as rugged Thornham Creek, which is a popular spot for artists and photographers. Down by the marshes the Old Lifeboat Inn, built in the 16th century, has recently been taken over by Marco Pierre White and provides excellent food and drink throughout the day.

In the centre of the village, locally caught seafood  is served at The Orange Tree pub opposite All Saints church – an impressive building with 15th century foundations. Thornham has a third good place to eat - The Old Coach House which serves delicious home-cooked pizzas and is ideal for families.

Thornham has a great range of local amenities with an excellent village deli and cafe, a childrens' playground and a tennis court.

Just along the coast road heading towards Hunstanton is Drove Orchards which opens seasonally for the sale of a wide range of locally sourced fresh foods from its award-winning farm shop and has an amazingly wide variety of pick-your-own fruits.
