Badgets

Badgets was thoroughly prepped and clean. We had a wonderful 4 days, visited friends and relatives in Burnham Thorpe, and really felt as busy professional people, ( except me, a retiree!) that we re- charged our batteries in a peaceful and inviting setting. There were absolutely no problems, and we hope we left everything suitably clean and tidy.

A very well appointed and lovely family home that we returned to as a base for visiting beautiful places in Norfolk.. Family time together in a lovely holiday home. Visiting Brancaster beach, Hunstanton private pool, Hunstanton funfair, local villages and playgrounds.

Spacious and well furnished house for a larger group. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and plenty of seating for everyone. Easy to reach the beaches at Brancaster, Wells and Hunstanton. We appreciated the use of beach equipment and chairs from the shed. Our second stay here and we would come again. The lovely wide, safe beach at Brancaster, when it was fine enough. The adventure playgrounds at Holkham Park and Sandringham were great for children on days when the weather was cooler.

lovely house, well equipped for large groups, everything provided to help you relax and settle in for a great holiday,Outdoor games much appreciated by the grandchildren as was the washing line and facilities, The village is centrally located for Holkham hall, Wells on sea, Hunstanton, Dinosaurland, Bure Valley railway, Bircham windmill and the lovely Brancaster beach to name a few, the house was very clean on arrival and the garden secure for young children. Excellent holiday accomodation that we will recommend to friends and family.

Perfect house for our family holiday. The buckets and spades and wind brakes were useful on the wonderful Brancaster Beach.

A lovely property which is very well appointed with very good quality fixture, fittings and furnishings and is tastefully decorated. An ideal base for a family holiday. Docking is very convenient for the whole of the North Norfolk coastline and Badgets was an extremely comfortable base. An enjoyable stay and the owners are to be commended on the quality of fixtures and furnishings and decorations they have provided.

We have had many lovely family holidays in Badgets, it is a lovely house. This was our first winter stay, and we were impressed with how cosy the house was. Celebrating my 70th birthday and my son's 40th with a lovely meal at The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe..

The house was lovely, warm and welcoming, a very comfortable stay and good location, perfect to enjoy the locality and birthday celebrations.

Very comfortable and well equipped house. We enjoyed Seal trips and the high ropes at Holkham.

It was so light and airy and the hallway and utility were bigger than expected - useful with a big group. The spaciousness was what we liked the best. Having a separate large living room with really comfy sofas.The standard of the decor and colour scheme was great!

My family and I recently rented Badgets in Docking and had a wonderful time. Please could you pass on our thanks to the owners but also pass on how very much impressed we were with Badgets. It had such a lovely homely and family feel to it, room proportions were superb and kitchen to die for and extremely well equipped. We did not want to leave at all to the point I became quite upset as I totally relaxed for the first time in years. We will be looking to book Badgets again but as I say, the owners are to be congratulated for a beautiful home.

Badgets was well appointed, spacious, nicely decorated. It was spacious enough to absorb 8 people including 3 teenagers. I know Norfolk well and the standard of rental has improved 100% since we started coming to N. Norfolk in 1980.

Good value, 6th year we have stayed there! We like the fact Badgets has 5 bedrooms with the one on the ground floor well away from the others.

Badgets is a lot larger than in the pictures with lovely decor, lots of space and very well equipped. Thank you for a lovely stay

At Badgets we really liked the lay out of rooms and bathrooms oilets, large well equipped kitchen and large dinning table looking out on to garden. This was the ideal house to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday,and for visiting other areas.

Badgets is spacious, modern and it was very clean. We have stayed in Badgets before and it is lovely. we would also saty again!

Thank you for such a beautiful and comfortable house to relaxing. It has been so stimulating to see different landscapes and breath taking scenery. I never thought the weather would provide such a variety of photo shoots - Wells beach in the snow, hard frosts and glorious sunshine. The weekend at Badgets from 20 - 23 April was to celebrate my 80th birthday with my family - from great-nephews, nephew and wife, sister and brother in law - not forgetting Archie the dog.
Our ages ranged from 23 - 83.
On arrival we all felt the WOW factor.
Although the photos on the website gave a good overview, the actual quality of the furniture, furnishings and decorations surpassed our expectations.
It is a superb 'home' because it has been equipped so thoughtfully and lovingly. A dog shower even included - although we could not get Archie to get anywhere near it.
We had such glorious weather and were able to enjoy sitting outside a great deal.
We all loved the nautical theme throughout and could not have asked for a better house in which to celebrate my special birthday.
Thank you to the owners for lovingly and thoughtfully setting up this holiday cottage.

We have had a lovely holiday in this spacious and well equipped house. A good location for families with small children.

What a beautifully decorated and well equipped holiday home. We've had the most wonderful stay, thank you so much. We enjoyed lovely sunshine and fish and chips in Wells Next The Sea. After heavy rain overnight, it ceased in time for a stunning (and sunny) walk on Brancaster beach just down the road. Would highly recommend The Chequers at Thornham for dinner. We can't wait for our next visit to the North Norfolk Coast.

Had a lovely weekend at Badgets. Such a lovely house and had great fun with the board games. Having the Christmas decorations up was a real bonus! Definitely brought the Xmas spirit!

We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful house. It is definitely the nicest holiday house we have stayed in and is beautifully furnished. All of the John Lewis bits around the house are amazing and the beds are really comfy. The welcome pack of goodies you left were lovely. We had mixed weather during our stay but still found lots to do; trips to Wells, Hunstanton, Holkham steam train etc. All in all a beautiful house ina great location and we can't wait to book again.
