The Old Butcher's Shop is a delightful 4 bedroom brick and flint cottage which
has just been totally renovated and redecorated. This spacious cottage is situated
in Docking which has a good selection of pubs and village shops, and is only 10 minutes
drive to the coast at Brancaster.
Accommodation
Ground Floor:
Entrance hall with pay phone leading to Cloakroom/Utility Room with
WC, hand basin, washing machine, tumble drier and larder fridge.
Kitchen: Large well-equipped farmhouse style with stone
floor and beams. Contains a range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, TV
and video and a table seating 6-8.
Dining Room: Large oak dining table and chairs seating up to
14 when extended.
Sitting Room: Comfortable room with 3 large sofas,
an open working fireplace, widescreen TV, DVD & video, stereo and doors leading to the enclosed garden.
Twin Bedroom: With solid pine beds, bedside chest
of drawers, bedside lamps and a wardrobe.
Double Bedroom: With pine bed, bedside chest of drawers and
lamps, wardrobe, TV and video.
Family Bathroom: Separate walk-in shower, bath with shower
attachment, WC and handbasin.
First Floor:
Double Bedroom:
Has chest of drawers and bedside lamps, wardrobe, TV
and video, and an En-Suite Shower Room containing shower, WC and hand
basin.
Twin Bedroom: With chest of drawers, bedside lamps, pine
trunk and wardrobe.
A travel cot and highchair are available (if required). The house has
oil-fired central heating which is included in the rental price. Logs are provided
for the open fire.
Outside:
Enclosed rear garden, part lawned and part paved with garden
furniture and barbecue. Gate to private
drive with ample parking space for 4.
